But why is this the rule I think it's not fair to most girls because they need a person to care for this is a stand to try. I think all Chinese people should at least keep there child. It's crazy.
I don't think that anyone can judge these people that wish to adopt, the children that are adopted, or the birth family of the children until they've met them, and have walked in their shoes, and can read their minds.
None of you, or me, for that matter have any right to judge.
there are a lot of children in China, more so than in America. It is very hard to get a young healthy child in America. China has a higher population all in all and a one child law that makes it one of the safest places to adopt from, in the sense that most babies were not stolen but genuinely abandoned, though I'm sure most parents didn't want to give them up.
and there are a few cases of special needs children being stolen by the grandparents and abandoned, or killed due to them wanting a healthy child or a boy when the parents wanted that child whether it was a girl or had problems.
they out in the new rules so they will be only adopted to decent parents. If you are adopted I'm sure you haven't failed to notice the same type of people adopt, people looking for alternatives to giving birth, like older people, single people, same sex couples, and just odd people all together.
why they want Chinese Baby? I just read a news paper article says that children trafficers stealing boys and girls and sold them to foreigners, to west countries start from $5000. it almost a fuckin industry now. what is the problem?
I would not rise someone if they are not my blood, not even pay for it.
Beijing should outlaw it completely for white couples who can't teach the child anything about Chinese culture. Adopt from your own country, there is no shortage. China is not a baby factory to cater to some fetish of yours.
I think it's not completely unreasonable to "raise standards" if there are too many applications and this new policy would increase efficiency speed up the adoption process =\
Come on!! What's wrong about obese people? What about people with blond hair and blue eyes, would they still be allowed adopting in China? This is so ridiculous.
And I suppose this is worse than sending all the girls of that country in orphanages where they are forgotten and neglected until a "decent" parent adopt them.
i see y they have these new rules but i mean i dont think thats very fair to single ppl who CAN sustain a child and WANT to! dik i guess everyone has different opinions
Big respect for the adopting families. If I was married I would do it as well. Its a great movement and I hope it will let the Chinese people see the worth of their girls, so that they will change the law, and maybe adopt kids themselves.
@Depotmaster ,It has nothing to do with Chinese laws. It's the old Chinese tradition that made Chinese families prefer boys. But things are changing very quickly. I strongly believe, in 10 yrs, there will be very few Chinese babies for adoption.
china should just be a bit nicer..i do understand that they are trying to find better homes...but come on....those who are willing to adopt are all angels...just be nicer..
As one of those waiting parents (for our second daughter from China) I am just grateful that we have our first daughter - but the waiting is very hard this time around. However, I don't blame China for wanting to give their children what they consider the best home possible.

The restrictions are totally valid. China doesn't exist just to serve as a baby factory for America.

They will find homes in China, where they belong.

obese parents are more likely to raise obese children for their lifestyle and diet habits.

I hear that the reason for the new laws is that they have way too many applications to handle...
