@taylorzack78 this is a licence version of pkm. when YU bought a licence for tenk T 72,they did also for this gun. it have a small adjustments to be more precise then pkm,but in basic its same wepon. also ex Yu weapons have higher quality standard then russians (small series,better material ...)

Sarac je nadimak za nemacki MG 34 i MG 42. Kod nas je MG 42 pravljen posle drugog svetskog rata i kao M 53 i kao takav je usao u naoruzanje nekadasnje JNA ;) Jeste ovo mozda malo zbunjujuce ali kad ubacis u pretragu MG 34 i MG 42 kao i nas M 53 bice ti jasnije.

accurate, reliable, low recoil, fearsome sound, and yes... throws empty shells on left, unlike other "Zastava" babies(M72 for example) and you can do nothing about that. Also it have some kind of "slower down" for empty shells to avoid disturbance of the fellow next to you on the left. So be careful if you try to stand up from prone position in something like push-up right after shooting it. I burned my left hand once on hot shells - nothing serious, but just enough to lose concentration.

This is one of the best machine guns in the world extremely accurate and powerful. 2 of those placed in crossfire held around 800 albanian terrorists during 1999 in their trenches and they had to abandon their attack. This is how powerful this thing is.

@prvt8pyle The reason the bullets are fed from the right is because this gun is usually operated by two soldiers in a foxhole or something and to create the smallest silhouette for the operators, the 'loader' has to be situated as close to the shooter as possible. Thus it loads from the right.

@torcidaSTobrec M84 is superior to MG42 in many aspects such as accuracy, and heat resistance. MG42 requires changes of barrel on a regular basis sometimes even after 200 auto rounds. Mg42 is an excellent weapon but it is not better then M84.
