I've got the same K&N you do, I've just been running it with the lid off. Just wondered if you were serious about it running better with the lid off. The guy who custom tuned mine recommended taking it off for the dyno run, but putting it on for driving.

I was thinking about an easy detach system for that right headlight. Take it out and rig a Ram Air system to the K&N box! That'd be sweet ;)

hell yeah. you may not even have to take off the headlight either if you run the pipe to the grille. i'll post a vid of how my brother did his. you just need some hot glue and two 90 degree 4 inch pvc pipes and go to town. he painted his black so you can't tell he has it. with that and a tune he ran 14.3 at houston raceway park in his titan

sure thing. it's WAY easier than you think. all he did was make an "s" bend with two 90 pipes and mate them. he cut a hole the size of the pipe and fit it through. then hot glue the bitch shut and listen to the intake BREATE... just as efficient as CAI kits but a CRAPLOAD CHEAPER.

Cai And Wheatley Tune my problem is my 3.42 rearend ... i just installed a full exhaust (Pacesttters) these videos are summer time (very Humid) , my best time so fat with just the tune and CAi Is 14.27 so when it gets cooler im hoping to get into the 13's , what do u have in u done to your truck , you have the same 3.42 correct ?

im fully bolt on and cam i still need a stall rear end and tranny upgrade yup i still have that little 3.42
