do you make the final rendering in your 3r app. or in a

this animation was done within 3dsm. i recently learned that a similar technique could have been made within a composition software too. so in the future i will go through a composition software instead of 3dsm for simple things like that kind of animation.

Isn't camera projection ( or camera mapping )just the same as adding textures to 3D geometry ?
What's the difference ?

camera mapping is sort of the advanced form of texture mapping. instead of images you usually use video, and u can edit it as u edit your geometry.
