  • which one should i buy this one or the pod 2.0?

  • @MatKiller1197 I've owned both the Pocket POD, which is basically a mini POD 2.0, and the V-Amp 2, and I can say there really isn't much difference between the two of them. I'd get the V-Amp 2 as it should be less expensive.

  • i think this is not the best v amp's demo, i prefer its clean sound, if i combine it with a analog distortion i will make an amazing sound (sorry fo my english, i'm learning)

  • Not horrible, but all of the models, to one end or another, sound artificial. But then again, this is only about 100 dollars and NOT a POD, so whaddaya expect?

  • @avw94 I also didn't have it dialed in the best. I plan on getting a V-Amp 3 sometime in the future, and when and if I do, I'll make a video of that too.

  • @guitardbucket :- dude i have recently bought vamp3 .. and before i had been using vamp2 from last 2 years and found vamp2 much better than vamp3 .. i was expecting a lot from vamp3 but it sucks :( ... the distortion power vamp2 had it doesnt have

  • @XCellRock Thanks for letting me know :).

  • I can't seem to get a nice enough sound from mine, not good enough for my style of metal...

  • @TheSKPwningEst1992 It's perfect for metal . I play a lot megadeth stuff with it.. and its superb ;)

  • @ganch123 I tend to prefer a hell of alot of gain, treble and mids that I just can't get out of the Behringer without an Equaliser

  • @TheSKPwningEst1992 The behringer V-amp has an equaliser itself.

  • It's on eBay for $30 should i get it ?, don't want to waste any money

  • @danndamanrox I think for $30, as long as it's in good condition, it's flexible enough to where it's certainly worth the money.

  • v- amp 2 or pod xt live wich do i pick?

  • @lotrringereras I would either get the V-Amp 2, or save up for the POD X3. The POD XT has a few good settings if you tweak them enough, but that's it, but the V-Amp 2 and the POD X3 both sound good, so it's just a matter of how much you want to save up. The V-Amp 2 is quite a bit less expensive than the POD X3 and can still make some really good tones.

  • @lotrringereras pod xt is more expensive.....i'll suggest it to record on a pc with a pair of monitors ....v amp 2 is good for guitar amplifier !

  • behringer v-amp2 vs zoom g2.1u.. who is the winner?

  • @decodine I've never tried a G2.1u, but it has the same engine and the same sounds as the G1, it just has more features. So, comparing the V-Amp 2 to the G1 and by extension the G2.1u, I would say the V-amp 2 sounds much more analog, much warmer and more organic. The G1 / G2.1u sounds very digital. So for me, the V-amp 2 is the winner.

  • @decodine the behr. is much heavier so itd smash the shit out of zoom, sry zoom i love you, but you lose this battle

  • @decodine i have zoom g2.1u ...it sucks ....i'm chaging it for a v amp 3 or a pod 2.0

  • @rockerEMG If you get a V-Amp 3, you'll have to let me know how you like it.

  • @guitardbucket hey don't worry it's good ...my guitar teacher has been using it since a lot of time ...he is really expert about this topic ....he uses it on a fender deville in send/return only for effects of ambient !

PS sry for my bad english !

  • good! the second setting, which sounds very metal, is it one of the presets or you made that one yourself? I looking for an FX processor capable of making serious metal sounds, for soloing and rythmical as well. Can you set the compressor before the distortion/overdrive as a daisy chain with the vamp2? Thanks, great to hear this video

  • All of the sounds are sounds I dialed up myself. I'm not exactly sure where in the chain the compressor comes. It's probably set after the amp, like a virtual effects loop, but I'm not sure. Either way, the location of the effects in the virtual chain can't be changed. Thanks for watching :).

  • noise gate first, then compressor/autowah, then the channel and effects. and no, you cant change the chain order.

  • Thanks, well thats the order I need actually. But sometimes I use the compressor after the effects. So in this case I would have to add one, maybe a behringer sustain/compressor pedal.
