@mphello there is a big difference in when u send in an army that is funded and coordinated by a faction vs an independent struggle for liberties or values. I think that is not so hard to distinquish except for neo liberal government maybe. Funded or not, an army of civilians or an army of professional soldiers is justified in their actions if the good outweighs the bad - and not, otherwise. Those with funding (professional) have an easier time in their battle than those without funding (civilians) - in general, unless, of course, soldiers are up against other well-funded professional soldiers.

No one holds a gun to anyone's head to join the miltary. It's voluntary. So soldiers know what they're getting into and aren't being 'sent off to war' as if they weren't aware of what's going on. If one joins & doesn't like what's going on he leaves, much like this guy did. That said I don't know why we're still in Iraq. We're just throwing money away.

Impresionante. La frase más impactante para mí ha sido "solo habrá una guerra si los soldados quieren". Para ellos es muy fácil declarar la guerra, otros morirán, otros sufrirán, y ellos se llevarán el beneficio. Funded or not, an army of civilians or an army of professional soldiers is justified in their actions if the good outweighs the bad - and not, otherwise. Those with funding (professional) have an easier time in their battle than those without funding (civilians) - in general, unless, of course, soldiers are up against other well-funded professional soldiers.

Para los que discuten, creo que están tomando la misma actitud con las que se inician las guerras.Tengamos tolerancia, y no seamos tan soberbios que creamos que lo que decimos es la verdad absoluta. Comencemos la frase diciendo "Desde mi punto de vista...". Por ejemplo, respecto a las hipotecas, yo creo que mucha gente pidió prestado dinero sin saber si podría devolverlo, y a su vez hubo otro lado que prestaron el dinero, en todo caso la culpa sería de ambas partes, al menos eso es lo que creo.

Bonito discurso con el que estoy totalmente de acuerdo con la primera parte referida a la guerra, la segunda parte tiene mucha carga política y habla sin saber. Muchos americanos se hipotecaron con dinero que no tenían para comprar casas que no necesitaban.

Cada vez más, las decisiones políticas que afectan a las gentes, sobre todo en sus economías o libertades, son tomados por personas, corporaciones y organismos no democráticos, que no representan los intereses generales, si no de grupos de presión de esas personas supermillonarias o corporaciones dominantes. La democracia está siendo secuestrada y sustituida paulatinamente por una partitocracia al servicio del dinero. Algunos políticos no asumen la voluntad de sus votantes, si no la del mecenas

This poor soldier who thinks he has something to say because of the trama he recently experienced, really read what was written for him, not really knowing what he said was written by someone who hates the greatest country that has ever existed. He is the reason this nobal country that has done little other than try and help the other peaple of this God foresaken planet and all it gets for it, is grief. I say, God help us. It's people like him, that we are in the position we are presently in.

@rrspindola I would say people like you are completely brainwashed if you really believe what this man is saying is not the truth, but instead i think you don't really realize whats going on.
You preffer to feel better believing you are helping others by paying taxes which really are just making the rich richer, and contributing slightly on a war the government wants you to finance.
The United States has got way too many problems, they don't need to fix other countries'

Para los que discuten, creo que están tomando la misma actitud con las que se inician las guerras.Tengamos tolerancia, y no seamos tan soberbios que creamos que lo que decimos es la verdad absoluta. Comencemos la frase diciendo "Desde mi punto de vista...". Por ejemplo, respecto a las hipotecas, yo creo que mucha gente pidió prestado dinero sin saber si podría devolverlo, y a su vez hubo otro lado que prestaron el dinero, en todo caso la culpa sería de ambas partes, al menos eso es lo que creo.

No one holds a gun to anyone's head to join the miltary. It's voluntary. So soldiers know what they're getting into and aren't being 'sent off to war' as if they weren't aware of what's going on. If one joins & doesn't like what's going on he leaves, much like this guy did. That said I don't know why we're still in Iraq. We're just throwing money away.
