I've played both games, and I think that I liked the first one better because of how long it was and the storyline was better, but I still loved the second one because it was funnier, everything was voiced over so it was a more personal experience, and I thought that Emil, Marta and tenebrae were much funnier endearing characters then lloyd. Although presea will always be my favorite. It sucked she was hardly in this game.

You people hate so much on this game! I thought Emil was an awesome character. I liked him more than Lloyd. Lloyd's voice was different but it later burned in. Emil's voice was great because it fit his character all the way to when he grows up. I loved this game. Tenebrae was my favorite just because he was the funniest.

lol random, but it's pronounced Teiruzu obu Shinfonia in JPN. IDK why, but it cracks me up how close it sounds to the eng title (sort of) with the JPN accent.

Holy crap. first time i saw this i thought it was a piece of crap and i still do. the whole game has been chewed up and spit out as a pathetic excuse for a sequel. you ashame me namco; this game sucked balls.

I believe that Lloyd's VA was changed too. the only thing i liked about this was nostalgia, but that was absolutely it.

Why is it that the sequels are always the worst?

I liked the sequel the best. This game amazed me. I think Namco did a wonderful job with it, however, I believe they should have come out with this before the first Symphonia because not knowing who the characters were at first added more story when I played it. I beat Symphonia 1 after I beat this.

:T there are a lot of things i don't like about this game. First off you can't level up the original TOS players. AND all the techniques are learned when you level up.

The storyline totally kills the love of the summons... they make them seem like utter weaklings in this and try to add in a story that just shouldn't be there.

I don't like any of the new characters. I bought it cause I'm a tales fan, but that doesn't mean i have to like it. Dx

you can't play as the monsters. As a matter of fact, they can't use items. On your first playthrough, it's recommended to use the human characters. On your second playthrough, your monsters are likely overpowered so you should use them.

Once you played the first one, this one WILL suck, it doesn't even compare. There's only 3 good points. 1: You can train monsters 2: Graphics are ehish 3: Zelos sounded better. It isn't worthy of being the sequal to Tales of Symphonia

After beating tales of symphonia you get an option wheres you can start a whole new and purchase stuff at the grade shop.

Problem is i dont wanna star a new game i wanna continue where i left off(complete sidequest), but when i load the file its gives the same damn option "insert disc 1".Is it even possible to continue? Please someone help me before i commet some irresponsable actions.

i finally have this game (though a little addictive) is fun. i finally have a game that reflects my actual play time overall 22:50 hours in 2.5 days. level 30 have level fourty monsters, a lot of grimories were used on them, evolved 2 times each for the third stage evolution, i think its final, and like fifty guild quests complete. so the story is a breze through. this game is five stars, highly recomended and has so many voiceovers

Kratos doesn't show up in the game but he is the Narrator I like his voice in english I just don't like Lloyd's voice though I wanted to hear Scott Menville's as the original english voice of Lloyd.
