your losing alot of dps by not ice lancing after every frost bolt my frost bolt will hit for about 6 to 8k depending frozen or not then ice lance follows up with about 3to4k and its instant cast plus in your talent tree you have were u have 15 percent chance to get in casting state were a fireball is instant cast so work those into your skills so it should be frostbolt ice lance till casting state then frost bolt ice lance fireball then hit icey viens cast a frostfireb bolt then rinse repeat

yea.. im lvl80 frost.. critting about 5.7-6k average... and i cant get into raiding guild coz every1 keeps saying frost aint raiding spec... wtf? im always on top of the damage meter in heroics... ridiculous... i dont want to respec...

Wow that is alot of damage. My fire mage is 61 and its highest crit has been 1.7k. I guess im doin somethin wrong if you like hittin 2k reguler

yeah i am a frost mage lvl 65, and i am always top on the dps list, and i hit crits like 90% of the time, frost is my fav spec for mages, and the new talents for the spec seem pretty awesome, FROST MAGE FTW!!!

the new FoF effect makes it easy to increase your dps, its a free shatter combo wen your target isnt novad in place. also the free fireball if u spec into it, gives a nice solid 4k crit, even as deep frost spec at level 78, and its free, no mana or cast time, so i cant see why a lot of people wouldnt use it. with the new talents, its easy for a frost mage to be one of the highest dps in the raid, if not the highest in the raid.

lol your the moron, there are plenty of ways not to pull agro, one which someone of your knowledge wouldnt know is *a good tank* second of all im a mage i have the ability invisibility, and second of all experienced raiders know to let the tank get solid agro before laying on Leet dps and to watch the agro meter so as not to pull, and High dps in High end raids is needed, so it is youe who is the moron, try using your head before posting daft comments.

ya on my mage Cheiff only 66 but im getting there. im frost and its BA, i love the new fof it helps on bosses when i cant freeze them. then i just frost bolt for 2400crit then a 1800ice lance. its awesome to be a mage today. nice video.

awesome, i love frost and want to use it as my raid spec in wotlk, as well as pvp... im just crappy at deciding which tallents to go with, looks here like youve gotten it pretty much down packed... at level 80 theres just so many things that i want to get in the frost tree, like permafrost and chilled to the bone, along with blizzard for maximum mob slowing(cc) and blizzard crits etc... but then theres torment of the weak that i wana get i just dunno

Just a hint when FoF procs, cast frostbolt once, then the next time you cast frostbolt cast ice lance right after, the ice lance and frostbolt both benefit from the same charge. :)

Yes,a well geared level 70 in T5 and BT gear, the XP bar you see is for a faction, so its actually a Rep bar, telling me how much rep i have until i reach my next level with that particular faction.

The free fireball cast... I have a frost mage, bu have avoided this because I never know when I get the free fireball.. What is the add-on which shows you you have the fireball? I'm looking for both mac and PC.

you can turn it on ingame

Turn on the interface option so you will be able to see when the free fireball buff has proc'd and youll be sweet :) there are also addons which tell you :)
