Dude, my mate has one of these and this fucker does 12 second quarters, not bad for a Vtwin 650 commuter bike. Enough to scare most rookies. But then they get the SV1000 when they've outgrown it. Girly bike my ass. Any Honda 250cc is girly. TL1000S Widowmaker, now thats a man's bike!!!
I think it's great, mind, I do have the 400 1998 model, I think it's comfy at low speeds and when you push it, it responds, and nice balance, maybe not track standard, but damn more than enough on the road :)
yeah, the only ppl that call the sv a girls bike are the ones that have never rode one. I owned mine for 5 years, a few suspension mods and I could beat almost anyone on the twisties. Just think of it as a cheap 748 without the style :D nice vid btw
