  • I think he is the greatest guitar player of all times "CHET ATKINS" is the name. His music will live forever...

  • look at that gorgeous guitar

  • this singer is a great player with the gatiar

  • Genius!

  • Thumbs up if you think that Chet Atkins is the greatest guitarist of all time

  • Chet's the KING!

  • que bueno!!!!

  • Is that really George Bush playing that?

  • Chet Atkins, not George W... but I am sure he would be happy with the comparison!

  • good pikin

  • de donde sacan estos videos?? XD

    increible

  • As much respect as I have for the great Chet Atkins, this version is just way too cheesy for my liking. The guitar doesn't really do the song justice in my opinion.

I agree wholeheartedly with IntelInside2020's comment about Tatum's version being the definitive one (though I have a soft spot for Louis Armstrong... but what jazz lover hasn't?). The way Tatum plays it, you'd never believe it was just one person and one piano!

  • I am sorry you feel that way about Chet's version. I just listened to tatums version.... We call that making noise where I come from. And yes I believe it was one 3 year old playing on 1 piano. No offense, that aint up to Chet's standards sorry!

  • I think Chet could play Tiger Rag on a washbuckett and make it sound great...Jack Baker NYC

  • Hi Kindgimped,

Cheesy is not quite the way I'd express Chet's arrangement--more like it's Chet's guitar arrangement and not meant to be compared to Tatum's great arrangement...Jack Baker NYC

  • Chet is awesome but, I'm so used to Art Tatum's version that everything else doesn't measure up.

  • Hmmm even thought Chet is great I dont like this version of Tiger Rag..:( Check out my channel for an (better) other version of Tiger Rag by Chet;)

  • Coulda done without that cheezy synth-organ.....

  • I first heard him in 1961 when I baught his Workshop album and have listened to him ever since. you want to take up knitting after watching him play(wanna buy a Gibson)

  • KING of the jungle--right THERE!

  • Hold that tiger RAWR!

  • very good version

    thank you :)
