This scene is BS. I know she is the main character, but you do not come back from this. She was in the water for an extended period of time. She was in A-systole for what must have been an hour. This is NOT just about starting her heart again. This is ABOUT Cranial (blood) perfusion. 6 Minutes. That's all the time you have before brain cells start dieing. Period. After that, it doesn't matter if you re-start the heart. The brain is dead - you are dead. Period.

@KampongKonoha The blonde girl was a patient from season 2 episode 6 'into you like a train'. Very powerful episode. One of my absolute favorites. The girl was stuck to another man by a pole. Meredith fought to save her life at the end of the episode. "We cannot just abandon her. We have an obligation" :( . So sad. Of course she died. The other lady was Ellis Greys charge nurse. I think she died in the hospital during season one. Another good episode. And we all know who Denny is <3

this episode is probably the second i watched from the grey's episodes. the first was the bomb episode, but never this episode poured the cement in my love of this show. (BTW I love Ellis, she's messed up but I can see her side and Mer's. Loved them two)

the info isn't correct because meredith didn't visit her mother in a dream. They had actually both died and they were in the afterlife that's why all those other people were there.
