I like it when artists who embrace heavy music compose like this. I see it as a take on a style of music, except superior in every way to most others trying to create in this style because of the metal influence and overwhelming creativity, even if it may only play a subliminal part. The downtuning and the sound they got out of the kick drum makes this so nice to listen to. Excellent how the drums are sitting out of the mid-range frequencies, allowing the guitars and synth to breathe in stereo

Umm, beginning 3:28 is the best part. Great song, great album - even if some of the lyrics and musical choices are a little cheesy and hokey. The soundscapes he creates are just pure win.

Deconstruction is too crazy for me, I haven't even had the patience to listen to one song thoroughly yet.. Fortunately I love Ghost though. I wish he would do an album like this again.. One awesome thing about this album is that he uses heaps of samples to back the music which gives its heaps of dimension. (kinda hard to pick up on youtube quality). I had the pleasure of meeting devin in australia. I can't wait to check out canada!
