i have a prob i have a 8800gtx , 4gig of ram and q6600 and the game looks like crap on high.. it looked better on low on my other pc.. something has gone very wrong... anyone else got this prob?
Getting myself a sweet PC for Christmas, 8 Gig of RAM, 8800GTX OC2, Q6600 Quad Core aswell, should be able to handle Crysis nicely. Already completed Crysis on this rust bucket ive got atm and its a great game! Cant wait till the next one comes out!
dude I hate to break it to you, but right now, you're much better off with 2 gigs of RAM, a dual core processor and regular ol' 8800GTS 512
because after that you're only paying hundreds extra for maaaybe 8fps more
and you can forget Very High settings in directx 10, make sure you use the hack for XP
buy your uber rig 1-2 years from now, Crysis will be the most demanding one for a while, wait on the new hardware, the software has overtaken hardware, now is a weird time to buy
august i think, and if this is directx9 just think what it'll look like on dx10 ;) and too all the people out there thinking the 8800 dx10 won't be very good, if crysis can run dx9 looking this good, Who cares if it doesn't run dx10 propperly :P
