Très bon acteur mais paraît qu'il n'était pas "facile à gérer" sur les plateaux.

Le plus dur a été quand il a tourné avec Bourvil.

Ce dernier était très bon lors des premières prises ... puis se fatiguait à chaque prise supplémentaire.

Tout à fait le contraire de Louis de Funès qui devait rejouer une scène plusieurs fois avant qu'il soit très bon et trouve le ton juste.

Le metteur en scène se "tirait des balles" avec ces deux grands acteurs qui devaient jouer ensemble.
