#3 didnt sound like Boston at all tbh. He enphasized some parts more so like what people "think" it should sound like, but other parts he was completely off on. #1 was the winna. He was wicked good.

the 2nd and 3rd guy were like...mixing it wayyyy too hard with a New York accent. a lot of people get that confused, but if you can actually nail the boston accent, then you know how to tell a boston accent apart from a new york accent a mile away. if you're from boston, you know that the two accents are 100% different.

Hey now, this competition was all for fun. It's not like this was a professional competition or anything. The competition was used as one of the means to promote the Boston Winter Conference. That's all, there is no need to hate the mistaken accents.

@hollyboo21 yeah that too. it used to be an irish term for someone ugly and/or obnoxious but it got taken over by bostonians for the fact that a large percentage of boston is irish.
