@BDevilScholar actually if you watched the whole episode, it died of natural causes. Mark Evans is the chief vet of the RSPCA, a highly respected animal charity that homes and cares for animals of any shape and size. Also the audience are university students studying to be vetenary surgeons.

@BDevilScholar nah, these chaps are animal carers, but like humans they'll do postmortems on an animal (or human) to determine the cause of death. In the process its a massive learning curve for students to get a real look inside the animals they may help save. Its a good thing for us all to watch and a good thing for learning veterinarians. I werent having a go btw way lol just pointing out a few things before its labeled as something its far from :)

Erm considering the emphasis this show has on evolution shouldn't they get the background a bit more correct? They're dissecting an Asian elephant, why are all the wild clips of the better known of the two African species? And why does the CGI thing have an Asian elephant with two fingers on its trunk? One of the identifying features is that African elephants have two fingers and Asian elephants have 1. Seems they forgot that evolutionary feature.

It's still called a theory because scientific 'theory' is quite different from the casual use of the word 'theory'. I don't think it's any hard proof of evolution. The fact that an animals anatomy is layed out to cope with specific challenges is no hard proof one way or another. Without a time machine I'm afraid there isn't a way of seeing. I have a very poor opinion of said richard dawkins too. I thought he'd put his self proclaiming opinionated 2 cents in.
