@cutiechica6 Because of age and physical development the younger groups are not allowed to get as physical as the older groups. Over time the body of the younger players will devlope the strength they will need to play at the level the older groups do.
@two66mhz That isnt necessarily true though. i skate on a junior league we skate full contact and on occasion we do play our adult sister teams.. We also skate against many other full contact junior teams including the older travel team of the team in this video.. the league you see is a tootsie roller league...

It is called a Roller Derby, it is a old sport that has almost faded off the face of the earth at one time, it used to be very violent, but the adults are not allowed to punch anyone or get to rough without getting into trouble, it is points based. The jammer must pass the pack to gain points for their team. The pack are blockers, bet you can guess what they are to do...
This sport used to and is played on a banked track to increase speed, but in my area the Sisters of Slant haved had very good luck trying to find a banked track to hold their events on. The local roller derby girls are flat trackers. These are the kids of the or others... My parents and Brother frequent these events, I was eating and shopping while this was going on... My dad was asked to film it and he asked me to post it... So I did... Don't worry there isn't going to be much more. I Promise..

First of all there is a huge difference between banked and flat track. Not all roller derby leagues fight. Most is just blocking.
