  • yeah, that is pretty accurate, they are wrapped in their blankie with familiar raving lunatics on entertainment shows like Springer, disguised as news.

They are comforted to listen to puking out their pablum on Beck and

Limpy, now seeing a money making opening, we have a variety pack of Corporate Republican shills on a cable "news" show.

  • There is a reason why most Cuban-Americans are republicans—they already lived in a communist dictatorship... Go figure, right?

  • Yeah! Bush MADE Obama spend 1.6 trillion dollars above the federal budget (deficit) for the 2011 fiscal year! It's all Bush's fault!

I mean, I know congress hasn't passed a new budget in over 1,000 days, but hey... that just means it's still Bush's fault... Continuing resolutions, bah!

  • Maher's dick has never shattered a condom.

  • maher is short.

  • @Damonymous

And Bob is not fat enough to be a typical Republican voter , what's your point ?

  • @NexisFilms Hahaa. i just never realized how short he was till i saw him beside Olbermann

  • @Damonymous

Yes, I guess Maher is in the 5 foot 7 or 8 inch range ..

  • That is NOT a typical Republican.

A typical Republican would have called them communists, mentioned 9/11 and demanded to see Obama's birth certificate.

  • basically describes a lot of repub voters. Most of them are ignorant and stupid

  • I LOVE IT!!!! hehehe...

  • @zwiiyt Even Alan Greenspan, a huge Ayn Rand disciple has admitted that regulation is needed.

NY Times Oct 23, 2008 – Alan Greenspan, the former Federal Reserve chairman, said he “made a mistake” in trusting that free markets could regulate themselves.

Unfortunately, you haven't figured it out yet despite what happened.

Yeah, free market principals sound great, but all you need is a couple times to see the damage this simplistic philosophy can cause - BP, financial collapse, ponzi schemes.

  • @zwiiyt "All that leverage came from low interest rates and moral hazards"

Do you know what leverage is? The Fed doesn't tell people to lever up.

Moral hazard is why we need regulation - if there's a huge speculative bubble with "animal spirits" driving it, regulation can limit the extent of speculation. This is why many exchanges have recently raised their margin requirements for gold, silver etc.

Just like gov't regulation can prevent BP etc. from taking safety risks that could end badly.

  • @zwiiyt I notice you blame everything on government. I guess you can only parrot Fox News talking points.

Did the Fed also force MF Global to go bankrupt this week? They took hundreds of millions from their clients' accounts and made a super risky leverage bet on European debt that blew up on them.

  • @zwiiyt The financial crash had a lot to do with derivative deregulation in 1999, the undoing of Glass Steagal as well as bank deregulation that allowed banks to offer more "creative" home mortgage products (no doc, no money down, ARMs etc.) rather than the straight 15-30 year mortgages.

Did the Fed force banks to give mortgages to people with no income verification? Did the Fed push Bear Stearns to lever up 40:1? Did the Fed force AIG to write unfunded MBS insurance contracts?

  • @zwiiyt The SEC under Obama got Raj the insider trading hedge fund manager and also stopped other ponzi schemes which would have never been discovered under Bush's weak SEC.

The issue is having strong and well-funded regulators. You probably think no regulators would be better? I know corporate-funded republican senators want to have the weakest regulators possible - they even tried to defund parts of the new fin reg legislation.

And you wonder why I think you're an idiot?

  • @zwiiyt No, it's a matter of the republican's attitude that regulation is not important and therefore make these regulators weak and allow conflicts of interests (MMS) as well as put incompetent cronies in charge of important agencies - "heck of a job Brownie" (FEMA).

Obama passed fin regulation (watered down by repubs) and tried to get competent people in charge like Elizabeth Warren for the consumer protection agency but the repubs blocked her nomination as they want to keep regulators weak.

  • Comment removed

  • @zwiiyt I guess governments' "monopoly on evil" didn't prevent Bernie Maddoff from stealing billions from investors.

Too bad the SEC regulators was so weak under Bush that they never looked into it despite being warned by several different people. Now with Obama, we are seeing a more aggressive SEC that got Raj Rajaratnam and some other Ponzi schemers recently.

The MMS was also weak under Bush which is why BP was able to continue to operate despite a huge number of violations.

  • Comment removed

  • @zwiiyt Government has a "monopoly on evil"?

I guess the financial industry was less evil than the government when they got too greedy and levered up 40:1 to buy mortgage securities, resulting in a near-collapse of the entire financial system and required a massive bank bailout that cost taxpayers hundreds of billions?

I guess they weren't evil wither when they later paid themselves multi-million dollar bonuses even though they almost destroyed the economy.

  • Comment removed

  • @zwiiyt Market regulation? What does that mean? BP ignored safety even though regulations were in place - do you really think "market regulation" where the industry determines standards would be better?

Oh, so preventing Hitler from taking over Europe proves governments are evil?

How about cigarette companies that knowingly deceive the public about the fatality of it's products or Enron executives that perpetrated a massive financial fraud and manipulated energy prices that hurt consumers?

  • @zwiiyt Also, the Bush administration made sure that fracking was not within the authority of the EPA.

As a result, we have seen well documented examples of how fracking has contaminated water in communities where this takes place. The companies deny it's their fault and won't even disclose what they pump into the ground during fracking.

  • @zwiiyt Your BP oil spill comment is just too stupid to debate.

So gov't shouldn't try to prevent massive oil spills through regulation because governments of countries go to war?

You aren't too bright, are you?

  • Comment removed

  • @zwiiyt "No safety? Then why would anyone work for them?"

I see you're a Ron Paul disciple. Thousands died in mine accidents before regulations were enacted.

Yes ignorant one, there was toxic dumping into rivers - read about The 1969 Cuyahoga River fire that helped spur an avalanche of water pollution control activities resulting in the Clean Water Act and the creation of the federal EPA.

Since you're ignorant of history before establishment of gov't regulation, you're too ignorant to debate

  • @zwiiyt That's why I called you dumb - you just don't get it.

The corporations would love no government or regulation - then they could dump toxic waste in rivers, sell drugs with harmful effects, not have any safety equipment on oil rigs, build unsafe products, fire people without cause etc.

Companies buy off senators so they can have this "freedom" to screw people over. The government is there to represent the PEOPLE.

    Got that dumbo?

  • @zwiiyt Wow, you're dumb - the U.S. is a democracy and laws are from the congress.

Corporations have been buying off Senators and Representatives to push for favorable regulation etc. In addition, they are pushing governors to try to break unions etc.

You really do have your head in the sand.

  • 24 people think wrestling is real

  • Umm. How can the health care be 'free'? Someone has to pay for it. Oh, I see, it's okay if someone else is paying for it, since you're 'owed' it for, well, just being the great person you are. Just out of curiosity, what other 'free' things are you entitled to that others are paying for? Make a list.

  • @dbsommers1

It's called "paying into it". People already do that with social security.

  • I didnt know keith olberman could be so funny

  • I love the way keith responds when bill calls keith olberman to help him out saying "i know you have experience talking to typical republicans"

keith: "oh yea" in a tone the sounded like, damn right i having fucking experience talking with republicans

  • what will republatards do when america runs out of stupid people, why do you think they hate education?

  • the force medical care is the only issue i dont agree with obama on that and the fact that hes a corporate sale out just like the others, but atleast hes not as bad

  • @davidwaters69 I am a middle eastern Arab and i always had healthcare for FREE, and americans have to pay for it? are you kidding me? Why? i'll tell you why, GREED.

  • @theawesomemanman thats because the republicans in the house are trying to block every law passed by a democrat, and holding the american people hostage!

  • @timmay301 Yup, that's why we need to get rid of all of the obstructionist republicans in the House.

Obama can't do squat if the repubs are actively trying to destroy the economy. Where are the job bills you promised Mr. Boehner?

If we get a repub president, we are screwed - not only will the middle class be destroyed but another regressive right winger might be named to the Supreme Court.

  • @theawesomemanman thats because the republicans in the house are trying to block every law passed by a democrat, and holding the american people hostage!

  • I love you Keith!

  • let's see them take the republican guy out of the hamster ball and see if these guys can have a civil debate with him. BTW Keith Olbermann, wrestling isn't fake it's scripted, but the pain is real. If it was fake, then why do so many wrestlers retire at young ages?

  • 3:27 Olbermann: "Obama-care is in no way government take over of healthcare, in fact IT FORCES people to become customers of private insurance companies." Then after choking on what he said, he goes into a tirade of insults as if to throw up a verbal smoke screen.

  • BILL IS LOOSING ME A LITTLE, LIKE WATCHING HIS SHOW, BUT HE JUST DOESN'T GET THE BIG PICTURE AT ALL. SOMETIMES HE GETS IT, OTHER TIMES HE DON'T. he's just starting to get soft!

  • @dragonsnakes examples?

  • poor bubble boy :'(

  • @theawesomemanman No, I also am disappointed in Obama but he has had many achievements that are listed on various websites, although some including healthcare and financial reg were watered down by repubs.

Obama was forced to accept the Bush tax cuts to get an unemployment extension as he just didn't have the votes.

However, I think he is (finally) learning and is pushing hard for the jobs bill by taking it to the American people. We need to get rid of repub congressmen to achieve more.

  • WRESTLING IS FAKE.

  • @carrotxdawg Yes, wrestling is scripted..... just like this comedy segment you just watched. Are you going to stop watching Bill Maher's show because it's «fake» ?

  • @carrotxdawg LOL

  • Hey... I'm a liberal and I like wrestling... Yes, also I know how it's all done.

  • @lawrence142002

I am neither Liberal nor Conservative nor Libertarian and I like Pro-wrestling...But I can also admit it's very fake.

  • @dynastyfamily00

Of course it is... Hell, they don't even let the guys blade themselves anymore in WWE.

  • Constitution exists and was created for one thing.

To limit the power of the government.

    Lets keep on that track.

  • @r3conwoo agreed once again

  • @r3conwoo Why don't you just shut up with your ignorant teabagger talking points?

You probably never read the constitution.

  • Comment removed

  • meh, its better when congress is so divided like it is now, it means less stuff will pass through which is good for everyone.

  • @r3conwoo agreed.

  • Its funny the ultra left hate Obama more than your average republican, because they voted for him and he let them down. hahaha

  • @r3conwoo i personally did not vote for obama bc i knew his bullshit from his debates.

  • @nader85021 Why don't you run for President by challenging Obama?

Surely people will see that you can do a better job.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well the whole problem is ppl arent challenging the president because he is part of your "party". You dont have to run for president to challenge the president. Thats like reps asking you to run against bush to criticize bush.

  • @nader85021 When can I expect you to announce your run for the democratic nomination?

  • @TheSnoopy1750 thankfully i am not a politician, and with the politicians have screwed this country for so many years, i would rather be a citizen who will criticize and stand up for beliefs that i believe in rather then bend over to both of these parties. btw i hate the dems just as must as the reps. I am more of an independent.

  • @nader85021 So you are a natural complainer.

Do you donate to campaigns, make calls for candidates etc.? If not, you aren't part of the solution and you should just shut up. You make all progressives look bad.

I am embarrassed by your delusional rants.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 money is the issue. i would never donate money to individuals but express ideas and rights. If you belive that campaign donations are needed for a candidate to be sucessfull than corporations will always have more of a voice than avg individuals.

  • @nader85021 You express your valuable views on youtube?

Wow, you are part of the solution!!! LOL

Good night you poor delusional simpleton.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well u are expressing ure views on youtube also. I express my views wherever i can.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 Why are you attacking me? Is this a typical tactic from folks who share your views?

  • @r3conwoo well he seems to be digging more when he is stuck in a hole. He sees this country as either tea baggers or supports the president. Rather than mix of individuals with different opinions. I am done arguing bc i feel like he is in denial, no point in wasting my time.

  • @nader85021 What are your solutions that can actually be implemented?

    That's right, you have none.

People like you are an embarrassment to thinking progressives.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 i have already listed them. 1) Pull all of our troops from abroad and follow a non interventional foreign policy - save a trillion dollars 2) Veto every bill that contains bailouts or giveaways - another trillion dollars 3) Change Social security tax from a regressive tax to a progressive tax - make SS more solvent 4) remove subsidies for oil companies - helps free market choose green alternatives 5) audit the federal reserve and remove bernake

  • @nader85021 Wow, so you think Obama should veto every bill then? - there are always repub giveaways in every bill. You are showing your ignorance again.

LOL - you really think Obama could pass a progressive social security tax system? You are a friggin moron.

Repubs will NEVER get rid of the billions in oil company tax subsidies.

You really are living in fantasyland. You just can't be taken seriously - you are delusional.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 the progressive social security was advise from bush's social security advisory board. (So u should do more reading). Well if you look at history of different presidents, clinton, bush and obama barely veto bills compared to previous presidents, so yes he should use the veto power more. CORRECTION: REPS and DEMS will never get rid of oil company subsidies. That doesnt mean its right.

  • 6) repeal NAFTA and bring in american jobs 7) secure the border with increasing funding and personale and pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill 8) let gay marriage be decided by the states and abortion is an issue with the supreme court so stop wasting time talking about those issues

  • @nader85021 Repubs won't even get rid of tax breaks given to companies that outsource jobs.

Did you watch the repub debate today? - they are 100% against immigration reform.

So you think repubs will stop pushing cultural issues like abortion and gay marriage?

You make me laugh. Your ignorance is stunning.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 repeal of NAFTA is supported by a majority of american people. CORRECTION: REPS AND DEMS wont get rid of tax breaks given to companies that outsource job. I am not talking about getting rid of tax break to companies, but getting rid of NAFTA which has caused a loss of many jobs in this country. BTW why are u saying reps arent gonna pass anything, so u will take it up the ass from the reps no matter what they believe in. In fact they will not pass anything u believe in..

  • @nader85021 Really, just shut up. You look like a fool.

  • first of all bush and most of senate under him supported immigration reform. There was a chance for republican house to pass the immigration bill but they were kicked off in 2006 and the incoming democratic congress were the ones who killed the bill. The reason being is that majority of american people didnt like the fact we are not securing the border. So if there is a plan for securing the border then most american ppl support a comprehensive immigration reform

  • Comment removed

  • @nader85021 That is all I am going to say.

Complainers like you are embarrassing and you don't achieve anything.

Bye - I really feel bad that you are so delusional.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 i am not complaining but criticisizing. you on the other hand are defending anything dems do. BTW I am criticizing both dems and obama for not pushing through popular things americans agree on. its ppl like you that give dems and obama a chance to compromise and give too much away to corporations and republicans.

  • @nader85021 Fine, run against Obama or help fund an alternative.

    Put up or shut up.

I really hate losers like you who waste time with no chance of making a difference. You are pathetic.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well if u really look at the policies of obama they are not different to majority of american people then against bush. So obama has a choice, he can either side with the majority of the american people or support corporations and lose his reelection so dem voters can go back to the drawing board and choose a leader that will actually stand up for them

  • @nader85021 One more thing, please don't comment anymore on any websites.

People like you are an embarrassment to thinking progressives. You are just nuts and give the rest of us a bad name.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 its a shame u call ureself a thinking progressive when u give excuses rather than defending true progressive ideas. You are not a true progressive, if all u do is defend any democrat rather than stand up for ure principles and not give excuses.

  • @nader85021 What can Obama do moron?

Yeah, repubs will pass a tax increase on the top 2%.

Do you really not realize how delusional you are? It's sad and pathetic.

  • @nader85021 It amazes me that you can possess this level of ignorance and naivety.

Seriously, what is wrong with you?

  • @nader85021 Until we get a majority of real progressives in congress, a democrat president will never be able to achieve real change.

Until that happens, you should just be quiet as your ignorance is stunning. I agree with your ideas but I understand reality while you evidently do not.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 we had that in 2009. Largest majority for the dems since FDR. Problem is these werent democrats that had the american peoples back but rather sucked corporations dick. So democrats let the progressives down in this country not the republicans. BTW most of my ideas are not progressive but are a mix between libertarian and progressive views. and most of them are supported by majority of american ppl

  • @nader85021 AGAIN, you ignore the blue dog dems.

Why didn't you put pressure on them to vote with liberal policies?

Because you are all about complaining and not solutions.

Losers like you never affect change.

  • Comment removed

  • @nader85021 Too bad many Americans are stupid and gullible enough to believe:

    1) tax cuts create jobs

    2) deregulation creates jobs

    3) Obama hates America

    4) Spending is the problem - reality is that you need a combined approach of cuts and tax increases.

Until the American people stop being stupid, corporate America will use them as tools to make more profits.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 not true. many american want an increase in taxes for the rich according to most polls. Most americans want regulation not only corporations but the federal reserve and most legislative and executive committees. Also most americans believe in a mixed cuts/tax approach that you mention. So if you actually read the polls you would know that most of these are populatr with american ppl, but obama and dems would rather take the side of corporations

  • @nader85021 So what if most Americans want a tax increase on the top 2%. Why do they vote republican then when they know the repubs won't increase those taxes?

    Republicans will NEVER pass it.

What do you not understand? Do you really not realize how delusional you are?

    It's pathetic and sad.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 they didnt. they voted for democrats in 2006 and 2008 and gave them a supermajority and a White house. its the democrats who failed the american people not the other way around.

  • @nader85021 AGAIN, what do you not understand about the blue dogs?

    Your stupidity is amazing.

Good night - it must be nice to constantly bark at the ocean. You are a nut job.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 yes i know enougth that obama himself is a blue dog. And its the democratic voters that are empowering the blue dogs not the republicans. IF they wnat real change they should throw out all blue dogs (including obama) and replace them with true progressive democrats

  • @TheSnoopy1750 Haha I thought you were saying those things... Totally those tax cuts worked great didn't they? How can people rationalize still...

  • @TheSnoopy1750 loser, tax cuts and deregulation do NOT create jobs. Obama hates america? thats just stupid. Spending is the problem indeed: spending on WAR is the problem.

  • @timmay301 I think you misinterpreted - I was saying the same things you are.

Only ignorant gullible teabaggers (useful tools of corporate America) believe the propaganda the TPGOP is peddling.

On a positive note, I'm glad to see that you're wise enough not to believe that garbage.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 its just sickening how many americans are stuck in these ignorant beliefs.. government is evil! lower the taxes!

  • @timmay301 Did you even read the comment before posting your knee-jerk response? He's agreeing with you, and saying those are things stupid right-wingers believe.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 You are so right and someone needs to tell the Tea baggers all the points you just made.

  • @r3conwoo Anyone who cites the constitution as the solution shows they have no real solutions.

What are your legislative ideas? get rid of the EPA, DOE, stop funding highways?

  • @r3conwoo Spouting vague constitutional comments is useless.

    What does it mean?

  • @nader85021 Your slogan can be "I talk a lot of shit but have no solutions that could ever be implemented"

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well the solutions are quite obvious. But people who expound my views are treated like shit in the media. But when there are views that support corporations they praise it like its vital for this countries progression.

  • @r3conwoo I guess these ultra left nut jobs thought Obama really was the second coming of Christ.

They think republicans will just kneel down before him and pass his legislation.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 second of all i am not part of the ultra left, but more of a mix between the old truman/johnson democrats and the traditional republicans (eisenhower). Both parties have lost their way the past few decades.

  • @nader85021 You are seriously delusional.

Again, why don't you run against Obama? - surely there will be 100-200 people who think you will be more effective - mental patients could be your support base.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well if more people are open to other ideas then we could get a president we can all agree on. Most poll show 60-70 percent of ppl belive we are headed in the wrong direction and both parties have low approval ratings. So its not like obama and the republicans in congress were elected by a so called "mandate"

  • @nader85021 It's getting late - what time is "lights out" at the mental institution?

  • @nader85021 I used to marvel at how nuts right wing fringe people are.

You make me think there are many left wing nut jobs also.

  • If I was President I would pull the troops out then drop a nuke!! haha, so would that make me a democrat or a republican?

  • "Wrestling is fake!"

    ...and gay.

  • Wrestling IS FAKE!!!!!!

    LMAO!!!

  • I'm a systems analyst and I live in Canada. I'm planning to move south and get paid 3x more with half the tax rate.

  • Very funny segment and 100% true.

For objective proof that the current deficit is 80% Bush's fault, there is a great graph one can show their ignorant republican friends.

Google: The Atlantic The Chart That Should Accompany All Discussions of the Debt Ceiling

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well it would seem that way if you live in a liberal bubble. You cannot just look at the deficit right now and say its mostly bush, if most of the legislation passed by obama expands the deficit in the next 5 years. WH estimates puts the deficit increase from 2010-2016 at 4.9 trillion dollars, which is double the debt bush increased from 2000-2008. Even if you give shared responsibility between obama and bush in 2009 for 2.5 trillion that is still a massive expansion...

  • @nader85021 Did you even look at the bottom chart that showed that almost all of the FUTURE deficits are Bush policies? Those are based on CBO nonpartisan numbers.

Keep on trying to argue against facts. You only show how delusional teabaglicans are.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 two things. First saying obama would have approved none of them is false. Obama has extended bush tax cuts, expanded the afghanistan war and obama is definitely not ending the war in iraq. Even though he is pulling out the troops he has appropritated a lot of money sending contractors and maintaining our embassy in iraq, which i feel is still prolonging our occupation. Overall defense budget has risen under obama. using the filibuster argument is the lamest excuse in the book..

  • @TheSnoopy1750 ...even extending the bush tax cuts was not the biggest sin by obama, but continuing the bush economic policy of bailouts to big corporations has done more to expand the divide the income inequality in this country. In fact he has been more successfull than bush in bailing out his corporate buddies and squadering billions of dollars benefiting mostly the rich. He has does jack squat when it comes to the poor. where is the so called increasing minimum wage to 9 dollars?

  • @nader85021 Obama not helping the poor? He was forced to allow the Bush tax cuts to get unemployment insurance and other programs to help the less fortunate.

Repubs also want to get rid of Medicare (Ryan bill), unemployment pmts, Medicaid, welfare, food programs for the poor etc. etc. They also want to get rid of the minimum wage and unions which help the poor and middle class.

Do you ever read a real newspaper or is Fox News and Limbaugh the extent of your "research"?

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well idk how many time i have to repeat this. obama was elected in a large part to repeal the bush tax cuts. No1 forced him to extend bush tax cuts when he had 59 dems and majority in the house, during the signing of the bill. In terms of the poor he did more disservice to them by bailing out big corporations thru bailouts, then expanding unemployment benefits since they are eventually gonna expire and its useless if they cannot find a job in this market.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 second of all i dont watch fox news or limbaugh, the criticisms I am making are derived from criticisms from liberals and conservatives on obama. In terms of blaming republicans of doing enough for the poor, what has the dems done for the poor. The poor are getting the brunt of this recession but the discussion from the white house has been more on how to stimulate the economy by giving billions and billions of dollars to corporations, wall street and pet projects of congressman

  • @TheSnoopy1750 if obama really cared about the poor, he wouldnt have passed the bailouts. He would have pulled all of our troops and cut the defense (non iraq and afghanistan) to at least the bush levels before 2008 and use it to spend it on domestic spending. He would have had a real health care plan (single payer) rather than giving money to private insurance companies, expanding the bush medicare prescription program and forcing everying to get an insurance even if they cant afford it..

  • @nader85021 Are you kidding me???

Obama wanted Universal healthcare - the republicans killed it. Do you really not know this?

The gov't gives credits to help pay for insurance for those who can't afford it as well as credits to small businesses.

Do you even read newspapers? You are so uninformed that it's not worth having to tell you the basics.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 ..he could have removed bernake and put a real audit on the federal reserve who were the biggest cause of the financial crisis according to many independent economists. On top of this what has obama done for the environment? He was the so called pet child of al gore, but instead increased off shore oil driling (more than bush), cut down on a lot of environmental regulations and is expanding the war in the middle east to keep oil prices low.

  • @nader85021 ...and instead wants to create a tax on individuals using products that create emission which will disproportionately affect the poor especialling in the east where heating oil is extensively used. It will also create layoffs of many lower middle class/poor people that work in companies that still burn coal without giving ample oppurtunity for alternative fuel to grow in this country. Obama has been a puppet of big corporations just like bush and he has done a good job of hoodwinking

  • @nader85021 all you liberals

  • Comment removed

  • @nader85021 You are very confused and uninformed.

Please read newspapers, understand how the legislative process works and maybe read a couple economic textbooks. Maybe then you won't sound so ignorant.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well i cant argue with you if you will do anything to defend obama even if he is more of a corporatist than a liberal. If you understand the legislative process so well how did bush pass his tax cuts with a barely majority republican congress and obama cant even let it expire with an almost supermajority congress. If you think i am deficient in economics what aspect of my argument is deficient. The fact that the feds gave easy credit that cause the financial crisis?

  • ..and yet obama has strengthened the fed and encouraged them to keep interest rates low? The fact that these bailouts have been a failure and this current jobs bill doesnt do shit to give jobs to the poor but rather just gives money to corporations. You are just delusional

  • @nader85021 You are just a big confused bag of ignorance.

First you blame Obama for the deficit, now you want more regulation, programs for the poor etc.

You are a moron. Good luck with your life - must be hard being so dumb.

    Goodbye.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 first of all i didnt blame the obama for the deficit, but have same he has done nothing to reverse it but in fact plans to expand it. I never said i want more regulation or programs for the poor but have reiterated obama hasnt done shit for the above two. What i want is more regulation on the federal reserve, no bailouts to corporations which will eventually help close the gap between the rich and the poor. Obviously we cannot get that with both of the current parties.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 and also pulling all of the troops from abroad, which btw you dont need congressional approval, since the president is the commander in chief.

  • @nader85021 Gee, you keep commenting. Are you really that pathetic?

I have an idea - why don't you solve all of the problems and run for President yourself?

i just love ignorant people who spew their complaints with no solutions that could ever be implemented. I guess you can get republicans to vote for higher taxes, more regulation, less corporate welfare and less defense spending.

Good luck with that. You really are a delusional loser.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 well as long as liberals keep defending their presidents no matter how bad they are and conservatives defending their presidents no matter how bad they are, we are never gonna solve this countrys problem. in terms of getting republicans to vote, the republicans could have voted no for all the stated goals above, and they still could have passed it when obama had an almost supermajority congress, but obama rather sold out to big corporations and his crony friends

  • @nader85021 So why don't you just vote republican?

Your are a sad delusional tool who lives in a fantasy world where you think corporate-funded republicans care about the American people enough to vote for liberal policies.

You are too stupid to talk to.

    Goodbye.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 btw bill maher voted for ralph nader in 2000. i never said corporate funded reps care about american people, but have said ppl who believe corporate funded dems care about he american people are stupid. btw there is no such thing as liberal or conservative policies. Majority of american believe in pulling all of our troops, raising taxes on the rich, not bailing out wall street, which includes ppl who identify themselves as conservatives, moderates and liberals

  • @nader85021 There you go again, Obama passed whatever financial regulation he could and the repubs want to defund it and scrap it if they get the White House.

You are so smart - again, offer your genius and political savvy to Obama.

    Loser.

  • @nader85021 Again, he was forced to loosen regulations because republicans were calling him a job killer.

He wants green energy but the republicans and oil companies are lying via propaganda and voting against any policies he advocates.

It's sad how uninformed you are.

Maybe spend a couple weeks reading newspapers from the past 2 years and maybe we can discuss things.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 what is this forced bullshit. he was elected president, no1 is forced to do shit. He loosened regulation for his own ass because he didnt want people to blame him if unemployment goes up, but what about doing the right thing. You are just blaming obama's mistakes on republicans because you will do anything to defend him.

  • @nader85021 Exactly, the republicans were spreading propaganda about how regulation kills jobs.

If the American people weren't so stupid or gullible, that propaganda wouldn't work.

You really need to learn about the legislative process. Obama can't get anything done with the teabaggers/repubs in charge of the House. Before 2010, the repubs in the Senate would fillibuster everything once Brown was elected from MA.

You really need to be more knowledgeable if you expect to be taken seriously.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 what is this filibuster bull shit. Bush got shit done with barely a majority republican congress. The president has the fucking veto power, he shouldnt be under the control of 41 out of a 100 senators, that just means he is weak. He has been a disgrace in terms of representing the people and just making excuses for his mistakes.

  • @nader85021 So is the jobs plan a good thing?

How do you expect it to be passed if the repubs/teabaggers won't pass it?

You really are an ignorant dolt.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 fyi the republicans only took control of the house after jan 2011, obama had a supermajority for most of his first term and even with scott brown had 59 senators and a majority in the house. the filibuster is a weak argument and any president that uses it is a pussy, since we passed a civil rights bill and got out of vietnam even with a filibuster in the past

  • @nader85021 Again, you are so uninformed,..

There were many "blue dog" democrats from moderate states that were afraid to vote for anything seen as liberal so Obama couldn't even get all dems to vote for his policies.

You really need to read more. You really don't have a grasp of what is going on.

Please stop commenting until you spend a few weeks catching up on the news from the past 2 years.

Being ignorant is no way to go through life.

    Goodbye loser.

  • @TheSnoopy1750 so obama is a pussy that is afraid of conservative dems. if i remember correctly no bush supporters, clinton supporters blamed the opposition for their candidates mistakes. good luck defending a pussy of a president we have and destroying the idea of defending the people and removing the influence of corporations on our govt

  • @TheSnoopy1750 who the fuck cares about what the republicans say. obama defeated the republicans. obama should threatened the republicans not the other way around. Bush never sucked the dems dicks when they threatened him. stop saying republicans threatened the president when they themselves arent popular with the general public.

  • @nader85021 You just keep babbling nonsense and continue to show your complete ignorance of how legislation is passed.

The repubs have the House and will never vote for any Obama policies. Obama had to water down healthcare etc. so he could get Senate blue dogs and a couple repubs to support his bills.

I guess you can get repubs to raise taxes, increase regulation, pass green energy bills etc. You're a delusional tool.

You probably voted for Nadar, helping Bush win - nice job retard!

  • @TheSnoopy1750 first of all i wasnt old enough to vote for nader in 2000. Secondly the repubs did not have the house from 2009-2011. stop ignoring that fact. the reason dems have failed the last 3 years is bc of excuses and not getting things done. this is something even bill maher has admitted. so you think he is ignorant too?

  • @nader85021 There you go again, ignoring the blue dogs and Brown from MA.

Do you ever keep abreast of what is going on in politics?

Obama fought for single payer health care but couldn't get it passed - I guess it's Obama's fault.

What color is the sky in your world?
