Nice system for growing food in of course i am sure others will grow something that needs your odor control system to each their own, have you looked at other crops that would grow well in your grow boxes like tomatoes and peppers?
R TECH INSULATION FOAM IS WHITE CHEP LIGHT AND REFLECS BEST + AC TAPE YOU HAVE A 4X8 GROW ROOM. We see that "illusive" light loss and failing cheap imported chinese drivers here in Texas also. I've seen 30%-40% failure in 1-2 years with LSI and Beta/Ruud. No BS! The light output is really bright at installation, but light shrinks in the 24-30 month range..for some reason. These type high lumen output fixtures range from $350-$1500 depending on manufacture. We never guess with LED we get L90 w/ 10 year light loss guarantee and 5 year warranty. email questions to tsieli@yahoo.com
Does your grow take electricity? Would you make more money if your electricty were cheaper or free? Do you know a few growers who would like to have their energy bill cheaper? You and your budz can get you electric bill to zero! You can also get paid for the electricity other people use! This means that your grow is pure profit! @Vilibrato White paint has a similar reflectivity (~90%) to Mylar (~98%) but does not cause hot spots,is more durable over time than thin Mylar, easier to apply and cheaper.
better yet.just to say... theres nothing stealth about a nice powerfull growbox at all.. , couple cfls. in a computer box. sure that can be kept kinda quiet... but any sized growbox that you can pull a decent yeild out of is not gonna be quiet.. my growbox is like 1/4 the size of yours and i got a 230 cfm server fan for exhaust. its lowered with speed controller to like medium... so prob 150 cfls and it still puts off a good amount of noise
@partyongarth420 The fan is 6 feet + off the grown and toward the back of the system. The system is insulated 1 inch thick walls. Actually very quiet for something so productive.
very nice.. i love the look of it it looks sturdy nice cool tube design. with the built in fan. but tell everyone about the noise this bad boy puts out.... sure it fits in like a piece of furniture if you wanna shut ur exhaust down when companys over and let your plants suffocate a bit... that 4 inch can fan is not quiet by any means.. also the exhaust coming out the box from the cool tube fan is gonna make a little noise.. theres nothing stealth about inline fans even if there only 4 inch
@partyongarth420 jCool tube is silent running the intake fan is not heard with the door closed the exhaust fan is 6 foot off the ground and on the back roof with an insulated nylon sleeve. The system runs from 30-40 decibels. That range is similar to the volume of a normal conversation
@Hydroponicstoday oh ok. well none the less its a very nice grow box, I was just pointing out how loud this thing probably is and in no way can be hidden in the house like its not there. lol.. but,.. yea. it really is a beautifull grow box for someone who wants something more dureable then a tent or a locker.. nice work!
@Hydroponicstoday 895? LMAO......i built a cupboard in my room and shopped around for all the parts and i done mine for 300!!!!!!.......and its bigger!!!!
@Mr9ofdiamonds Of course everything is cheaper DIY. This is a very nice set up. Something you can take out of a box, don't have to take a million trips back and forth to a hardware store, put up in minutes and be going. This is a company, obviously they need to make money. For people who have money this looks legit, my hat goes off to you guys. I'm a DIY guy too I do everything myself but for anyone looking to just get something right out of a box and go this looks legit.
being I'm having fantastic spring weather and soil with lots of compost mixed in , how is this beneficial compared to some good soil out in the sun for growing plants ?I see it very helpful during the winter.. but having trouble wrapping my brain around the work and expense in this type of indoor system during peak outdoor growing season. thanks for posting this , very informative
Looks like a tight fit having the filter in the corner like that. If you want to have a larger filter you would have to add a length of ducting. I doubt that cone type filter would handle odor as well as a normal can filter or other brand name canister type filter. It would also be nice to have an option to use a regular air cooled fixture rather than a cool tube for better light spread.
@SkeksisRule Other than that these grow boxes look like a nice option for a semi-permanent grow room without having to do any construction or cutting holes in your house.
You can start with one and add to your garden as the master controller is expandable to feature up to three grow daddys or three bud buddy's. The first scalable system that grows with you and keeps your efficiencies high.
We have can filters as well as an upgrade and the filter inside is the easiest one to use, since we use and external duct fan one can dual filter that very easily or one can add our 11in fully active can filter. not pictured.
The key is getting the air through the filter and the 170cfm supplied duct fan does that and then some.

Hey there, well the sun is fun but you only have one grow season, indoor gardens have up to 5 each year. That makes for more fun my man.
Also side note you can use soil pots in our HydroStation.
