The Bug is there to cover any 9 logo's that might be on news stories recorded at the last minute. The supers are matching TCN and GTV as sometimes stories are recorded off air from them with their supers. Also because Tassie do local and national in one news report unlike other states who have only local and 9 news. Bug was moved to match super. didn't think anyone would notice. all sorted now tho
A huge improvement on their last look. Loving the set, the weather, the opener background. Two things that are weird;.the supers don't match anything and the solid logo sitting there for the entire bulletin is unneccessary. (Hopefully WIN just haven't worked out how to get a logo to only show up on the blue part when the supers are activated :P )
Other than that - a pretty good job by all at WIN Tas! About time I say.
Do you know whether the Hobart bulletin is the only WIN branded news that uses the dotty Nine News supers? All the other regions seem to use blue ones, but maybe Mackay have the Nine style ones too...
Did you notice them adjusting that bug at the start? WIN Hobart don't usually have to bug programmes themselves, except for ACA at 6:30pm.
The only thing that has disappointed me with the WIN-wide revamp is they haven't touched the openers yet. Maybe that'll come soon... :/
Yep, all other WIN News bulletins use the blue supers, probably because Hobart is the only nationally focused bulletin.
Funny how they adjusted the bug. I've seen that many times during niche sports event coverage (like Golf or Tennis, which always seem to use a differently placed WWoS logo, forcing WIN to adjust.) Lucky for us in WA, ACA is cover-up free.
The only thing they appear to have touched in the openers is the bumper (except Hobart). It's zoomed in more, cutting off Tas on the bottom
Yeah, I think you're right about the Hobart supers. How ironic that its main animation is dots crossing the screen.
I believe the WIN News bug is much more transparent in other states. I guess the only reason for them introducing it into local bulletins is for the sake of consistency with bugged Nine-produced bulletins.
That's why I don't understand WIN revamping the Perth & Adelaide openers, yet not other regions. Not very consistent across regions & the on-air look for each station...
