I dont think just b/c someone is opposed to hogan or any old wreslter coming in any fed doesnt mean their dissrespectful or negative, b/c i wouldnt be watching wrestling prob if it wasnt for hogan and savage and the warrior, but for me, im just more so over and tired of tna b/c it's like of we have come as far as we can w/ Our own talent, so y dont we just bring in the biggrst name we can, he might help he might not, but for me i just dont care at all really and would rather him just retire
You raise some really good points. I think but Hogan is a special case. He was never a good technical wrestler and by all reports is not a very pleasant or trustworthy individual. No one can seriously expect him to put on a good match in TNA although I doubt that is his intention. The issue I have with certain older wrestlers is that they rest on their laurels and have an expectation that pushes should come to them and they don't need to put over younger talent.
interesting and good point. I'm curious to see what TNA does with Hogan. My only big complaint about veterans is how sometimes they don't want to put over the younger talent because they think it hurts them. Example, Booker T not wanting to put over Matt Morgan
And how do you know there wouldn't be wrestling without Hogan? There certainly was wrestling before him. That argument is so fucking outdated and tired it's not even funny.
And what about Flair? There's more talent in the business who got into the industry because they looked up to Flair, not Hogan. Hogan didn't save wrestling because there wasn't anything endangering it. It's that line of B.S. that lets Hogan get away with whatever as if it had any merit or actual real world value.
people commenting on this video putting someone over doesnt have to mean losing to him. hogan has put HUNDREDS of guys over. all of his matches consist of him getting his ass kicked for 15 minutes
And then no selling there finisher that has put away everyone else they wrestled then "Hulking up" which means that everything they used on him for those 15 minutes had no effect.
Even though im not a fan of Hogan, but i do respect that he is a house hold name. Too many people are jumping the gun, without seeing what could happended... the time he makes his arrival,if you ask me,this could be Hogans biggest challenge ever in his life ...inorder to carry the weight of a product ..that has been lacking for a while in the rattings.
Like you, I'm interested to see what's going to happen. However, I AM going to say this: the reason why people are so upset about Hogan is because of what he has done in the past, to companies, and to wrestlers. He has been known to be selfish and to make money for him (and sometimes the company)... maybe improve the ratings.
We don't antagonize Ric Flair... he worked his ass off and is a LEGEND. The difference: Hogan didn't put guys over, or help anyone. Flair helped Orton and Batista, for two
why don't people respect hogan? well because he NEVER puts guys over when he should like for example orton at summerslam 06, why did he have to win? everyone knows orton should have gotten the rub.
how about when the WWE/WWF wanted to put the title ont bret hart but hogan wouldn't drop the belt to him (it's in bret's book)
or how about when he demanded to leave WM 9 with the WWF title (again in bret's book)
or how about when he wanted to beat lesnar at suviviour series 02 for the title
I haven't really shared any of my opinions on the whole Hogan thing. Im keeping my mouth shut until we see how its going to go down.
Im not a HUGE Hogan fan but I understand how important he is to the business and I will only bash any veteran when they do something wrong. If Hogan does hog the spotlight I will bash him but we dont know if hes gonna do it so Im just gonna wait and see.
thats why i cant stand hhh because of his politics dont get me wrong hes a great performer i just cant stand him for the politics, i respect guys like hbk and taker because A they havent been champion 15 and let young guys hold the belt and B they care about getting the future ready period but good video man keep em up
yes he did however he did during a time when it was his time however he realizes 10-15 years later that its time to get the young guys over and get the future ready i respect shawn for not wanting the world title thats why hes someone to respect
unlike Hogan HBK could still put on high caliber matches at the time. i think that politics is not the sole reason that we hold grudges against the old veteran wrestlers. its the politics combined with arrogance and the thought that they think they still deserve to be in the spotlight even though they are way past their prime and can't put on great matches anymore. for example, Kurt Angle is a bit influential backstage yet still puts on high caliber matches even at his age so he doesnt get hate
undertaker vs cm punk breaking point thats all I got to say :/ double standards shawn was using politics most main eventers use political at some point sorry it goes all the way back to the begining
no that wasnt politics because taker dropped the belt back to punk it was a way to make cm punk a monster heel even more so in the long run that situation at breaking point was a good thing and hbk doesnt play politics he hasnt played politics since early 1998 and that was ok because it was his time hbk doesnt do it anymore because while hes still an amazing wrestler its time for the young guys instead lol at hbk still playing politics
good video man but the thing with guys like hulk hogan and hhh for example is that they hog all the limelight, is it really necessary for hogan to join tna?they should focus entirely on the youth movement rather than bring in a guy who killed a company under 10 years ago, as far as hhh goes he plays politics like hogan did in wcw hes been champion almost 15 times already in 10 years he buried jeff hardy three times, buried edge, buried orton a few times, buried some other young guys
yes they are where they are because hogan hasnt been around all that much and also because hogan wasnt around during the attitude era look what happened to the young guys in wcw they quit because of the bullshit hogan and his cronies were pulling off with all the bullshit politics
Big thumbs up on the shave. I can say that almost 100% I respect and love the veterans the most. I adore them and they are my fav things in wrestling ever, even now they are the best thing going. Roddy Piper when he hosts will get me to watch raw for the first time in 4 months just as an example. The person I most wanna see in TNA right now is Dallas Page, they need interesting personaities not workers right now. Hulk is the best thing for them.
but that doest mean i dont respect what he has done

I respect all wrestlers and all the memories they have provided. but i dont want them to be ruined by watching people who shouldnt be on tv anymore.
Last time hogan had power, we watched the nwo become a bunch of his friends and eventually blow up the company.
I dont follow tna much, but didnt Jim the anvil just show up? nice move

well look at where hardy, edge, and orton are at in their careers....doesn't seem like hogan buried them that badly
