I dont think just b/c someone is opposed to hogan or any old wreslter coming in any fed doesnt mean their dissrespectful or negative, b/c i wouldnt be watching wrestling prob if it wasnt for hogan and savage and the warrior, but for me, im just more so over and tired of tna b/c it's like of we have come as far as we can w/ Our own talent, so y dont we just bring in the biggrst name we can, he might help he might not, but for me i just dont care at all really and would rather him just retire

You raise some really good points. I think but Hogan is a special case. He was never a good technical wrestler and by all reports is not a very pleasant or trustworthy individual. No one can seriously expect him to put on a good match in TNA although I doubt that is his intention. The issue I have with certain older wrestlers is that they rest on their laurels and have an expectation that pushes should come to them and they don't need to put over younger talent.

interesting and good point. I'm curious to see what TNA does with Hogan. My only big complaint about veterans is how sometimes they don't want to put over the younger talent because they think it hurts them. Example, Booker T not wanting to put over Matt Morgan

And what about Flair? There's more talent in the business who got into the industry because they looked up to Flair, not Hogan. Hogan didn't save wrestling because there wasn't anything endangering it. It's that line of B.S. that lets Hogan get away with whatever as if it had any merit or actual real world value.

Even though im not a fan of Hogan,but i do respect that he is a house hold name. Too many people are jumping the gun,without seeing what could happended... the time he makes his arrival,if you ask me,this could be Hogans biggest challenge ever in his life ...inorder to carry the weight of a product ..that has been lacking for a while in the rattings.

Like you, I'm interested to see what's going to happen. However, I AM going to say this: the reason why people are so upset about Hogan is because of what he has done in the past, to companies, and to wrestlers. He has been known to be selfish and to make money for him (and sometimes the company)... maybe improve the ratings.

or how about when he demanded to leave WM 9 with the WWF title (again in bret's book)

I haven't really shared any of my opinions on the whole Hogan thing. Im keeping my mouth shut until we see how its going to go down.

Im not a HUGE Hogan fan but I understand how important he is to the business and I will only bash any veteran when they do something wrong. If Hogan does hog the spotlight I will bash him but we dont know if hes gonna do it so Im just gonna wait and see.

unlike Hogan HBK could still put on high caliber matches at the time. i think that politics is not the sole reason that we hold grudges against the old veteran wrestlers. its the politics combined with arrogance and the thought that they think they still deserve to be in the spotlight even though they are way past their prime and can't put on great matches anymore. for example, Kurt Angle is a bit influential backstage yet still puts on high caliber matches even at his age so he doesnt get hate

no that wasnt politics because taker dropped the belt back to punk it was a way to make cm punk a monster heel even more so in the long run that situation at breaking point was a good thing and hbk doesnt play politics he hasnt played politics since early 1998 and that was ok because it was his time hbk doesnt do it anymore because while hes still an amazing wrestler its time for the young guys instead lol at hbk still playing politics

Big thumbs up on the shave. I can say that almost 100% I respect and love the veterans the most. I adore them and they are my fav things in wrestling ever, even now they are the best thing going. Roddy Piper when he hosts will get me to watch raw for the first time in 4 months just as an example. The person I most wanna see in TNA right now is Dallas Page, they need interesting personaities not workers right now. Hulk is the best thing for them.
