great video and i loved your top 20 Van Gogh paintings i think my favourite out of them all is number 2 the self portrait there is something so beautiful about that painting it speaks a million words!!!
It was like yesterday when I was standing infront of one of his "rain," collection paintings at the National Museum of Art in Washington Dc steering at his paintings for hours It was so scary for the fact that when I came back into my sences I was standing by my self at the museun with no one around me.
Two figures in undergrowth should be in there. I have seen it many times in person in Cincinnati. Fascinating widescreen format. Both figures brilliant. Composition with trees has an architecture equal to any great building. Trees are transparent and ghostly in perfectly modulated way accentuating this quality in female figure. Texture in trees, abstactions throughout, dynamism wind reaction of flowers/weeds/grass...This painting is wild, monumental, careless, beautiful, scary as hell, & perfect
Its very sad that Vincent passed away not knowing that he was a genius .. oblivious to the fact that his paintings would one day be considered the works of a master painter. and be worth millions!
