Also it's interesting to see his comments about the Jews plight at 1:48--when after the war, so many German citizens, from what I have read, claimed they had no idea what was going on or happening to the Jews. I sense some of the immense pain of Mr. Kellner. He so much wanted to stop what he was seeing, but could not find the courage to do so directly. I cannot judge him (and I am an Israeli Jewish person...). It took sheer heroism to do something in the present, and he had a family that could be harmed as well.
