You guys don't suck, you have plenty of potential. What you need to do (both of you) is feel the emotion behind the song. Get into that emotion. Open your throats more. Loosen up a little. Raise your soft palette. All of that will help you sooo much, one singer in training to another. Keep trying! :) <3 You can do it.
