You guys need to look more into the character then they are portrayed. Ilia may be a little over protective but that's just because Epona is her only female friend, and Eponas a horse! Ilia just doesn't want anything, not even the slightest scratch to happen to her or Link. Because if Link was gone, she'd be all alone. It's not her fault she lost her memory, she's just sensitive about others.
@XMusicIsWhyILiveX If she so nice, explain the beginning of TP! Where she steals Links horse and screams his head off. And you would not belive what Link had to go through to get her memory back - when she just gives him a Horse Call - and at the time when Midna can just teleport him to anywhere he wants to go. The fact that Midna was so BA makes everyone love her even more and also she might have been using Link at first but she learnt by her mistakes and went on his side. Also, she teleported-

She was protecting them both - remember the scene where she floats infront of Zelda, trying to defend her? And when Ilia doesn't remember him - yes he looked down-hearted but did you see his face when Midna vanished and broke the Mirror? Midna had true feelings for Link and cared for him in TP. In OoT, WW, ST, PH - Tetra/Zelda would have suited Link nice but in TP the only girl for Link is
