Well mongoose100989 this "Guy" is a Historian talking about a period of English History. History is the study of the human past. Scholars who write about history are called historians. It is a field of research which uses a narrative to examine and analyse the sequence of events, and it sometimes attempts to investigate objectively the patterns of cause and effect that determine events. But you do need to have some Intellegence to be able to understand what he is talking about.

The history of jews in Britain is very opaque. True, the jews were expelled from England, but many settled in Scotland and Ireland, not only France. As for who was deemed a jew, this pertained to their religious persuasion, and if some 'converted' to christianty, assuming English names, they would no longer be considered jews. Jews were highly educated and valuable assets to the crown, and therefore retained. Merranos were also discovered in Elizabeth's time. Her doctor was apparently a jew.
