does the marine corps have a program prior to enlisting that helps future recruits loose weight? i want to join but i need to loose weight first and i need help with it. No smart ass answers either they do or they don't.

@auq21 as far as i know there isnt any specific programs (there may be), however i suggest you speak with a recruiter, and maybe do a diet yourself as well as attending the weekly PTs that recruiting stations have to offer. it would be best to talk to an actual recruiter no matter what the case. (there could be other things that disqualify you, and it'd be a shame to do all that work to join the corps and get rejected anyways)

@cde09 you have to get a 31 to enlist IF you are enlisting pre-graduation. if you are a graduate you need a score of 50. if you do not reach this score, you probably did not pass the EST and your recruiter will help you study.
