The day she says "My work is the best since Kate Bush" then you can spout off until then try to appreciate Arcade Fire for what they are. Which is something COMPLETELY different. Not better, different. Apparently no one should ever try to write an album unless they're better than Kate Bush!

@jjochems In case you did not recognise the close parody to the Kate Bush "Cloud Busting"... is the only reason for the comparison... the tone and direction of the music takes a turn at 2.00 minutes... but the intro very much Kate Bush like therefore the Comparo.. I love how this song has two completely different perspectives to it...the first one so optimistic and happy, and then the second basically completely opposite, basically crushing her dreams and telling her "stop now before it's too late." And then Regine acts it all out so well live, I love it!

This is the song that made me fall in love with this band. The combination of their voices in this just make it for me. It gets dissonant sometimes and that in combination with the great song writing makes it unique and original in my opinion. I like Suburbs alot, but I hope they do not abandon this direction entirely.

Not content with the regular band members being able to play just about anything, up pops Colin Stetson from the back and plays the xylophone with equal aplomb to Regine and Wil. Unbelievable. Big shame those two guys didn't make the 2010 tour. Just noticed the similarity in the harmony with Suburban War.

@bennyuk55 - I do agree - As amazing as they are in 2010/2011 .... I missed the horn section, which adds a whole layer of depth and texture to their sound ..... Dont get me wrong: I saw them and I was blown away ... But it would have been even better to have those horns in certain songs ....
