I was in this video! As a jr. high 8th grader! a hand full of us 8th graders where good enough to make it to the high school marching band.

You prolly got handmedowns from the 90's or early 2000's, i doubt any instrument survived from then.

In 1983-84 United was a 4A school, in 84 and up we were 5A. This performance was at the UIL State semi finals for 4A division.

correction, the assistant directors were Rick Garza, Joel Wright and L. Brown. I think Mr. Gil and Mr. Evland came later.

Other directors were Joel Write, Leonard Brown, Carlos Gil (maybe)and maybe Dennis Evland... not sure about Carlos and Dennis

I remember practicing a split shift in the summer;and then staying after school till six or seven plus saturdays but it was all worth it. nobody was better than us in 5A that year...No-one!!! thanks for posting
