  • the one things I notic with these kinds of films is that when its about Chinese people the British are the bad guys and when the movie is japanese the Americans are bad guys

  • @F145h1 because the British invaded China with Opium and the Americans bombed Japan with nuclear weapons.

  • wel there is only a fuw reasons people keep disagreeing with eachother on here and wel everywhere els its taste and a difirent mind setting how u grew up and fear of change whats a good movie to me some1 els says its shit ore bad the reason people wil likly never see eye to eye but m stil hoping for it :)

  • its best movie what i ever seen

  • First seconds I was like "Assassin's Creed asian version?"

  • ooooooooooooh i think the monkey king is in this leme see if i can rent this

  • M0viezFull.hot.to provides you with Full Version of this Movie!

  • I agreed with other critics too. This trailer starts off like it's gonna' be an epic. The whole climax of this movie should have been only on Vincent Zhao's dramatic comeback to regain his long-lost honour, both physically (via the expression of his new Drunken Fist Kung Fu) & emotionally. The last part of the movie featuring Beggar So fighting against some western wrestlers just spoils the movie's fluidity & coherence. I won't mind if only the latter had been inserted before the climax though.

  • odd movie this one, starts off like its gonna be some epic masterpiece then last half and hour is a complete loada bollox. i watch alot of asian movies especially martial arts but this was like i watched one for an hour and a half by a great director and then laurel and hardy took over and directed the last bit. other words was like watching bruce lee then along comes a clown called jackie chan...nuff said.

  • @MrDjc1970

i dunno jackie chans really old movies are actually good

like the drunken monkey one, as far as i can remember that was goood

  • @REALKILLADEALRECORDS drunken fist mate not drunken monkey, lol

  • @kistajk haha na mate its called drunken monkey look it up

  • @MrDjc1970 dude i couldnt have put it any better your completely right, the last half hour of the movie had nothing to do with the original story line.

  • @MrDjc1970 With all due respects, I find actual fighting and stunts much more entertaining then random screaming and kicking at people who don't fight back, I know different people have different tastes and honestly to each his own, so please respect others and not make fun of others.

  • @MrDjc1970 P.s just in case you got me wrong, I am talking about the movies, not the people, I respect Bruce as a martial artist.

  • @1314nameless i respect ur input. i was just making a point, in reference to my point about the movie it is similar to jackie chans film career...he made some real great kung fu movies and police stories early in his career and then he made some real bad laughable (joke) movies later on that were absolutely awful. but each to their own. i love asian movies. once chan went western he became a complete joke like end of this film. west/east dont mix well in movies.. often

  • @MrDjc1970 Fair enough what you said. Although I think east and west can mix well if they learn to sit down listen to each other and not just want to do things their own way.

  • @MrDjc1970 I feel like they decided, "fuck it, let's throw in a reference to drunken master and the old china-beats-imperialist-westerners" but the reference was another half an hour. I still liked it, probably because by that point you're so invested in the character that you know there's no way some no name wrestler from england is going to beat him.

  • @mailedbypostman Exactly..good comment also.

  • Please don't make any more awful big muscular westerner fight scenes.. They suck the rest f the movie is amazing.. Have white guys that can fight. Muscular big men should be killed in one punch unless they can fight.. If you can explode a rock from a kick, you should be able to kill any man regardless of size with ease...

  • The gay thing about this movie and ip man. Is these Kung Fu guys can send each other flying through walls with a kick, smash wine barrels and walls with their fists, punch a tree and rattle the leaves. Hit someone so hard they cough up blood. Yet they have trouble fighting a slow muscular white guy... Doesn't make sense at all.. They should kill the westerners with one punch as they don't know Kung Fu.... Really poor directing from so called amazing directors

  • @quickmantan

Haha very true. Apparently Kung Fu fight scene choreographers always like to pit the heroes against some big ass juggernauts for dramatic effect.

  • @Skillking22

yeh im not sure if you have seen the movie, unleashed by Jet Li? it is a british film.. is a decent movie but its also makes sense somewhat, by the fact he beats the hell out of many men with ease,, and then he gets thrown into a cage to fight to the death with a muscular wrestler.... and Jet Li hits him with one punch very hard in the throat and kills him without effort.... thats how it should be.... a kick that can break rocks that cant kill a westerner does not make any sense.

  • @quickmantan

Yup, maybe it would have made more sense if only the choreographers had portrayed the juggernauts' body as being hard as iron eg: before fight begins, opponent shows off by, say, withstanding a blow from a log to his body.

  • @Skillking22

YEP totally agree, that would make alot more sense if they put a big guy in the movie,, they shouldve potrayed him as some kind of iron body master of some sort... good idea :-)

  • Saw this ages ago now, it was a pretty great film. Good ending :)

  • I Just Saw This Great Movie in High Quality at GetFullMoviezz.18.to

  • I watched This Movie FULL at GetFullMoviez.cn.to

  • what a Great Movie! I saw it full in HD at GetFullMoviez.18.to

  • OMG! Lady Gaga having great sex with Friends Vagina at LadyGagaSex.key.to

  • I cant enjoy any martial art movie after i saw ipman 1-2... :/ I know that its their signature directing thing, the wires and staff but its boring and unrealistic...

  • @DjNiqueed ong bak 1.2,3?? Fearless??

  • fail movie it uses wires so it fails any movie that uses wires fails

  • hulk smash at 0:34

  • Its true that the fancy prancy kung fu you see in theaters is unrealistic and is more style than anything , but don't mistake that for being a true representative of kung fu. True practitioners of kung fu are as badass as BJJ, Krav Maga and whatever other "shit" you think works in "real life". Kung fu is most often chosen in film because it is far more cinematic than most other martial arts. Even an exaggerated BJJ fight wouldn't be as cinematically exciting as kung fu fight.

  • @desertninja3 yeah you're right. but BJJ is more effective and noone makes movies bout it

  • @desertninja3 I agree, with you completely, the best choices for real martial arts movies are Hong Kong. Most of the actors are actual martial artists, and they dont 'play fight' to create the action scenes, they literally fight, real injuries and all on set.

  • @desertninja3 Yes this is true, even Bruce Lee believed too much movement is just wasted energy. With that sed I still luv Kung fu flicks, and I do appreciate all those fancy moves and acrobatic flips, all that. To me I look at it as a peice of art, in the same kinda way people wud go watch ballet.

  • AND THEY KEEP MAKING KUNG FU MOVIES... OVER AND OVER AGAIN...

  • @nahuelfantino They keep making horror movies over and over, and drama, and comedies. Martial Arts films are a genre like any other.

  • @Skoople88 I meant KUNG FU movies. Not martial arts movies in general. Why do we keep seeing KUNG FU movies coming out when, by now, almost everyone knows KUNG FU is DEAD and DOESN'T WORK... Of course i don't espect to watch a real fight in a movie, but at least an exagerated, super badass BJJ fight and Krav Maga shit. Things that we know it works in real life, but exagerated in movies, so it's even cooler.

  • @nahuelfantino oh...well then I completely agree with you :D

  • love how people are moaning about how its not real enough when generally Legends tend not to be whats that word...real? JESUS just sit and enjoy the film without comparing it to films that arent really in the same genre even if they do share a massive simularity =p

  • this isn't the story of the drunken master..??

  • @carlosz013

    it is somehow^^

  • @carlosz013 looks like forbidden kingdom and ip man together

  • DUDE... David Carradine is in this movie?! How long was this movie made?

  • Seeing Jay Chow in this film along with such high calibre martial art stars doesn't look right and they just shoehorned him in there

  • looks like a movie weve seen a 1000000 tims before...

  • @106588 C'mon. It's the same everywhere you go. I mean, look at Hollywood: they produce the same guns-blazing-crap years over, while Hong Kong at least produces the most epic fighting scenes ever years over, even though they too are repetitive. But look for Legend of The Fist, it seems like refreshing experience.

  • @106588 just like all the us action movies and all the chick flicks and all the love movies and all the horror movies. still e1 watch em.

  • Yuan Lie (Andy-On) 5 Venom Fist Technique. = Awesome character with Awesome Aesthetic. BRAVO

  • Looks good. I need to see this.

  • half decent fight scenes, but what up with the shitty plot? =\

  • @coder49

Shitty plot? No no. All the good kung fu action movies are like this lol

  • @nickevil101 Ip Man. Nuff said ;)

  • @coder49 This movie was better than ip man -_-

  • @WarrenKeingGaw then you must be a 5 year old child who thinks venom style is real and cool! (Y)

  • @coder49 Oh yeah venom style takes the cake (Sarcasm)

I appreciate this movie because it has the drunken fist philosophy which was shown in this movie

something you wouldn't understand.. I seen ip man and it was a good movie, but true legend was way better

and the fly shit doesn't bother me it was a great movie so fuck you , nuff said.

  • @WarrenKeingGaw this drunken philosophy only lasted the final 30 minutes of this film. Ip Man was a semi biography of Bruce Lee's master, Bruce Lee, you know the famous martial arts icon in Hong Kong(?) it featured a good story and good fighting scenes without effects. Also take into consideration you are flaming me for my personal opinion and something i said to someone which does NOT involve you in anyway, so no need for the rude words. sort your attitude out and grow up.

  • @coder49

I was trying to download all 3 IP Man movies but having a hard time finding them in english

  • @nickevil101 download the ones with english subtitles, you should never look for dubbed ones. you can find them on stagevu.com

  • So disappointed in this movie. There was no point in Michelle Yeoh, Gordon Liu or Jay Chou's characters whatsoever! And David Carradine's part was mostly cut out...RIP

  • Last 30 mins was strange. Anyway nice flick.

  • Fucking asian people are always flying in these kungfushitmovies

  • @HardePapiSchnitzell like james bond movies r real....one vs a fuking army..oh i forgot rambo.

  • oh wow is that david carradine?

  • Im not big fan of this kind of movies

"Floating" kind of movies :S,dude Jet Li,Bruce Lee,Donnie Yen, -they pwn in Kung Fu Movies

  • @TheUrbanninja666 actually that's what i thought always but this movie wasn't too fake, i was a bit annoyed yet the movie kept me up and it came out to be more real looking to me, so the movie is 10 stars

  • @TheUrbanninja666 actually that's what i thought always but this movie wasn't too fake, i was a bit annoyed yet the movie kept me up and it came out to be more real looking to me, so the movie is 10 stars

i meant to say the combat was quite reaslistic other than levitation

  • this will actually be cool in 3D

  • THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST KUNG FU FILMS I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!

  • Oh great. Another westerner who don't know how to fly... :p

  • oh great, more chinese people that can float.

  • Great movie. Really enjoyed it :)
