I don't think there was anybody in Season 7 that had a better, clearer, and crisper voice than this. The voices that I heard in Season 7are either nasal, muffled, oft-pitch. The only trick that the season 7 contestants did was put emotion into their singing even though the words are muffled. People think emotions equal talent. The judges are mean to Fedorov bcoz they don't want another Clay Aiken at the top. The only one with the clean/crisp professional sounding voice in S-7 is Carly Smithson.
i don't think emotion equals talent (if you can't sing you'll still be hard on the ears lol) but i do think someone who's a subpar singer and has lots of emotion will be easier to listen to and like then someone who has a great voice but doesn't make you feel the song (thus usually ending up being very boring). But you are right about his singing it is great...i think the fact that they only sing like a minute of the song doesn't help though.
I wouldn't say that season 8 has no talent. It just didn't have a Carrie Underwood or Leona Lewis caliber singer. But I would say that if Anthony Fedorov was on season 8, I think he could've won hands down. Nobody came close to his level except for maybe Jorge Nunez, who, much to my disappointment, was eliminated (I think Anoop or Matt Giraud should've been booted off that week instead). Vocally, Federov is head and shoulders above both Kris and Adam.
Wow I can't believe the judges are so cruel to him. I listened to this, and it was great! He sang that beautifully, and I think they were quite unfair.
Randy is such a fat asshole! I watched most of Anthony's Idol performances and Randy is just an ass in all of them! They are good performances. It's obvious that Randy was bias towards Anthony. No one likes Randy. He needs to be replaced!

this isn't as bad as they said, but it's not great. did you hear that not around 1:31 or 1:32? not good. he does have a nice voice, though.
