@martinlindsgaard You got that right! Women today - especially the younger members of the "Worst Generation" - look like complete whores. The Kardashian cunts come to mind as poster sluts for big-assed, big-twatted, girdle-busting skanks. It seems every young girl (especially those in "entertainment" like Britney Spears, Mylie Cyrus, Christina Aguilara) tries to "out-ho" the other. Rather than look fit, clean and classy, they want to prove they've sucked more d---s than anyone else. No style.
american movies become popular because allow people to dream , the other movies of other countries are too realistic. Dynasty became a huge success, because was full of handsome men and beatyful women, very beatiful houses, dresses and cars and wonderful music. Everything appear nice, i don't think that people take much care of the plot when they decide too see these operas
gordon thomson is very nice the opposite of his character. even if i don't think is character is completly negative, i like is determination. to be too good is too boring, i thing that he loves very much his work, he acts also when he speaks in real life, he doesn't seems to be intersted just in earning money and become famous like all the other actors

I Miss the Carringtons. They were Good,Bad,Awful in Behavior,Full of Treachery,Deceit,Backstabing,Out for Themselves,Affluent,Weak,Strong,Fallable,Noble and strong and Powerful: Very Human at a Higher Level because of their Wealth. They Weathered Bad Times, and Prospered in Good Economic Times. Their History was Expanding with the Inclusion of the Colbys and with the mention of the Grandfather Carrington.
What are they up to now ? Alexis would be Opposite Now because of Blake's Death
Does it ever seem to anyone else like Jack Coleman had a problem with playing gay? Whenever I see him in these specials he always seems to want to make it very clear that he's straight.
yes, i heard that he did have an issue with that...which is odd considering he knew the character was gay when he took the part so if he had a problem with playing gay, then why do it? but i dunno...looking back at it, yes it was groundbreaking but compared to say "brothers & sisters", "ugly betty", or "grey's anatomy" that feature gay stoylines it seems almost laughable! but i still give aaron spelling credit for having the balls to even try considering the times!
I think that's absolutely the case. I think Collins is an extreme sort of person, when she's good she's wonderful and when she's bad she's vile. But basically, she is a happy, funny and nice person who says things out of turn by accident.
No, Steven was gay. His relationships with Sammy Jo and Claudia were first and foremost a reaction from the network executives who were afraid of the controversy of a gay character. But within the context of the show, there were Steven's attempts to try and please his family (particularly Blake)...but Ted, Luke, Bart...Stephen's true attraction was to men.
sorry to disagree, but sleeping with a woman does NOT make you "bisexual"! i believe the intent of the character was for him always to be gay, but the network and the censors were scared to ever allow the writers to make steven "too gay", so they'd pair him up with a female every season to butch him up. a show would never be able to get away with something like that now, cause if you're not gonna commit to the storyline then don't bother at all. but for the early 80s thats as far as it could go!
Joan are so right-; women will never look like that again - sadly!

Sounds like Gordon Thomson didn't like Joan very much! She seems like a sweet lady, except for the smoking and furs which really kill the mood!

Sounds like Gordon Thompson it's telling it like it was.

I think Collins, in theory, is a nice person, but just says things and does things out of turn by accident. Just because that's part of her nature.

The music in this documentary is making me laugh so much.
I don't think it intentional, but it matches perfectly.
This show can be fun to watch, but it makes me so glad that I'm not an actor.
