  • Now THAT is the way to make dumplin's!!!! Thanks for sharing it! (Now just need her recipe...lol)

  • I started out watching a video on how to make chicken & dump. Then at some point it became some family's video of the baby. At some point after the swapout, I realized that I was intruding on a family. I felt very guilty. But then again, I'm high as a monkey.

  • Sweet lady talking & sweet Grandma - thanks for sharing. I love chic ^ dumplings and want to learn to make it. God Bless ♥

  • Thats the way my grandma makes them also. Thanks for sharing Big Grammies recipe!!

  • i've come to the conculsion that there are many ways to make chicken and dumplings, and there is no right or wrong way... they are as unique as each cook that makes them, and to the families that eat and enjoy them!

  • That's right hen makes the best dumplings. I am taking note on the arm trick. I always have hades when making my dumplilngs from scratch. They are always too thick. lol thanks for the post.

  • Precious !

I have a "Big Mama" too!

The reasoning behind the silver spoons to feed your baby is more than just a keepsake... the silver is good for her immune system!

Thank you for this wonderful video!

I will make my dumplings as you did, with lots of love!

  • A good family video

  • Did they cook the baby too?

  • I cut my dough into squares, but they go up my arm to get them in the pot:) This is a great way to find out how to make a favorite family dish. I'm fortunate that my Gram gave me all her recipes. She'll be 80 this month and she doesn't make chicken & dumplings anymore since she taught me how. Baby is cute by the way. She'll probably grow up liking dumplings:)
