ugh i was there and it looked like the play was over then all of a sudden he comes out the middle into a HUGE hole the USF NEVER should have let happen.
i remember watch this yelling "THIS KID BETTER NOT TRIP OVER HIS FEET!" watch how fast he is running once he is in the clear... his feet are moving fast than his body.... Great play.
Collaros has alot of talent. I've never seen a back-up come in and absolutely dominate like he has. 14 TDs in only 3 starts, and limited play time in 3 others. That's impressive. He would put up Heisman worthy numbers if he played a whole season like this.
This guy is pretty good, lol, it's going to be interesting to watch him develop in Brian Kelly's system over the next two seasons as the starting QB for Cincy.
Well, so much for seeing Zach Collaros develop in Brian Kelly's system the next two seasons. Cincy needs to get a Head Coach with a similar offensive philosophy as Kelly's, that would help Collaros's transition to a new Head Coach be a lot smoother.
@patrick1215lyons Sure, I am very glad UC made the decision they did, it was the only way to continue the continuity that Brian Kelly established, bring in a coach that studied under him in the same offensive system, Butch Jones. Butch Davis is North Carolina's head coach, but I knew who you meant, lol...
this guy has some serious natural talent.. and a gift for winning.. just being able to maintain a positive motivation for the players and being able to always keep them close or stretch the lead for their favor.. i don't know.. i can tell the way he carries himself and plays..
I see all views respectfully, but If Zach had the number 1 QB seat from the beginning of the season, I think the team would click better than it does with Pike now.
I agree with donaldkav on this one. Don't get me wrong, collaros is a good player, but he can't run the offense as well as pike does. He may be very athletic, but pike has a lot more experience as a senior and collaros just doesn't have many seasons under his belt. the bearcats will be fine the next few games, but they need pike as they enter the final stretch of the season.
first of all dont start the meat ridin . colloras is no tony pike and we wont score as points a game wit pikes absence but we will wen the nex three witout pike cause its lousville syracuse and uconn. 3 bad teams
I think Tony Pike is doing just fine and putting up alot of numbers. Also if they put in Collaros they will have to change their whole offensive game plan since he is more of a runner
collaros isnt a scrambler, hes balanced, and it was a score because of the overpursuit from usf. I think it would be just as good, because there a more balanced team.
no he's not, he's balanced. He has a great arm from being a baseball player. plus he's mobile out of the pocket and downfield. There would definetely be more points scored, the defense wouldnt know who to watch now. With Tony Pike, they just had the threat of a HB taking off, now with the QB having mobility, it creates more matchups at receiver.
well it was going well, then his ankle got broken...

I love plays like this. Wasn't this his very first time in, and then he does something crazy like that? That silenced the crowd.

@McChuckNorris yea we all thought with pike out we had the game for sure, but once again, USF defense failed miserably.
