@Freakylittlethingy Not really. I don't think they killed anything. Something is only dead once it loses it's player base entirely. WoW isn't dead "yet". But Personally once Guild Wars 2 comes out, and Knights of the Old Republic releases, WoW may as well lose a good sum of the player base.
@dradone5 about 12 million people played in WOTLK. Cata reduced the amount to about 8-9 millions playing today, from what i hear in trade and guild chats, many many many more players will quit playing when pandarian comes out. so... its a dying game already.

Exactly my thoughts. they needed to make a large portion of Uldum, like half of it, a floating questing zone that looks like The Vortex Pinnacle and has the same music. the architecture and music of this instance is amazing, would really like to have a quest zone like that, too bad they didn't have anything like it.

This entire instance reminds me of a level from one of the original Spyro games. The lofty atmosphere (literally and figuratively), the architecture, the mechanics of falling off of the sides, the golden orbs in Heroic, the air elementals that 'play dead'...it's awesome!
Lightning and strong winds constantly swirl about the Skywall, making natural flight in the vicinity all but impossible.
Inside the fortress, Al’Akir the Windlord holds court, ruling over his elemental kin. He enjoys watching over the rest of the plane, traveling in the guise of a thundercloud.[1]
The air above the middle tier of the Elemental Plane looks much like Azeroth's sky at first glance. A yellow sun, immobile and persistent, hovers in the air, surrounded by drifting clouds and other, more violent storms. Birds and much stranger creatures flit about.
Above the sun, invisible from the ground, lies the fortress of the air elementals. Thick stone walls, fashioned of rock stolen from the earth below, hang suspended by permanent cyclones in the shape of pillars.

Some of my favourite music so far, wow just wow. It really, really gets deep inside of you and fills your heart with this feeling of lightness, with a slight feeling of urgency with the drums keeping your feet on the ground. This is pure excellence.

when I play wow, I usually do so with the sound off, and my music on. Cata will definitly change that, I could listen to tracks like this all day long and not get tired.

Some of my favourite music so far, wow just wow. It really, really gets deep inside of you and fills your heart with this feeling of lightness, with a slight feeling of urgency with the drums keeping your feet on the ground. This is pure excellence.

it's so beutifull........ T:T i've actually placed this as my cellphone's ringtone.
when I play wow, I usually do so with the sound off, and my music on. Cata will definitly change that, I could listen to tracks like this all day long and not get tired.

@TheWimbleton I like it, all drums are airy, both heavy and light - because it is all just moving air. The stronger drums give it a more passionate feel too

Seriously, did they hire a whole new musical staff for Cataclysm ? The music of this expansion sounds nothing like the previous ones... And it's gorgeous, needless to say.
