  • I really wish they made this a questing zone. It's just too beautiful for words.

  • Could anyone make me anintro based off this for my videos? :)

  • i hope it's obvious for everybody that Music came to us from Heaven.

  • When i saw this first time i tought its gonna be sanctuary city..

  • The epic that is 11:46 made me cry on teamspeak =(

  • I use to play this while flying on Deathwing. Along with the scenery it's fudging glorious.

  • With Al'Akir dead, no elemental Lord of Air now?

  • @MultiGeorge101 and no elemental lord of Fire, since we killed Rag. in firelands.

  • @MultiGeorge101 No Al'Akir is not dead he just inprisoned

  • The artstyle in this place is fucking gorgeous. Just look at that skybox! Blizzard, why did you not make this into a zone, or maybe even a quest hub?

    Q.Q

  • @Izaach even better... A SANCTUARY!!

  • @Izaach Because theres only so much you can do in a world that is made entirely out of clouds and air :P

  • @Stonezorz

Actually, the posibilities are quite endless.

One of my biggest gripes with Cata is that they didn't expend the Skywall into a questing zone, atleast to some degree, AND, that they dared to treat Throne of the Four Winds as your usual "1-2 boss raid" when it should've been one of the bigger raids in Cata. this place had so much potential, mystery, atmosphere... sigh.

Truly a lost gem, a lost opportunity.

  • @NamelessATM While I disagree with it becoming a questing zone, I do agree with you about the Throne of the Four Winds. They made such a big deal out of it that Ragnaros was coming to tear shit up while Al'akir was basicly just a gust of wind or something :P

  • EPIC

  • 11:44 = Conclave music.

Every time I hear this, all I can think of is "AL'AKIR, YOUR SERVANT CALLS FOR AIDDDDDDDDDDDDDD."

  • THe best dungeon in cata i'd say

  • The sheer stupidity behind calling a game bad before you've had a chance to play it amazes me. The saying "don't judge a book by its cover" also applies to games, folks.

  • One thing that will NEVER dissapoint me in WoW when all else does, is the music.

  • Excellent really amazing <3 ... still prefure wintergrasp music though.... <3 <3 <3

  • Onward to the Skywall. To infinity.

  • Cataclysm didn't live up to expectations and lost a lot of potential yet the music never disappointed me. Wasn't enough content in Cataclysm and the community got too bitter along with Blizzard's bad attitude. Now Mists of Pandaria tells us we could be worse off and indeed WILL be worse off.

  • bleh i miss WoW. but i wont play World Of Warcraft: Kung Fu Panda.

  • @dradone5 its bullshit that they bring cuddly wuddly pandas into the game. I still dont give a shit if they were in warcraft. they fucking suck, and they should stay there.

  • @dradone5 Enough with your bullshit already, i say fuck warcraft. Loved WoW untill they released cata, and now they do this to us? fuck that.

  • @dradone5 i dont curse the game only, the new blizzard as well....

  • @dradone5 It looks like a fucking kids game! Its shit! Fucking pandas running around going ninja! How can that for any reason be compared to the other expansions?! its like comparing dog shit to diamonds!

  • @dradone5 oh dont worry, I WILL NOT.

  • @dradone5 its "FUN" that they killed the best game? is that what you think?

  • @Freakylittlethingy Not really. I don't think they killed anything. Something is only dead once it loses it's player base entirely. WoW isn't dead "yet". But Personally once Guild Wars 2 comes out, and Knights of the Old Republic releases, WoW may as well lose a good sum of the player base.

  • @dradone5 about 12 million people played in WOTLK. Cata reduced the amount to about 8-9 millions playing today, from what i hear in trade and guild chats, many many many more players will quit playing when pandarian comes out. so... its a dying game already.

  • @dradone5 WoW died when Lich King died.

  • @Freakylittlethingy I've heard that one before. I kinda agree. LK was the most interesting end game boss the game had. Deathwing has a...ok-ish story.

  • @dradone5 yeah and i just wonder how in the HELL they are gonna be able to make a good "story" out of ninja pandas running around kicking each others asses.

  • @Freakylittlethingy Depends on the player base as to who thinks it's good or not. I'm open to any idea and willing to try whatever and only judge based on experience. But who knows?

  • @dradone5 I know one thing: I aint gonna like it one bit.

  • @dradone5 i even saw arena teams called "we hate pandas" and "pandarian killers" today lol

  • @Freakylittlethingy Lol, what is this!? They should just PvP pandas then.

  • @dradone5 guess they just demonstrate what they think of the next expansion.

  • @Freakylittlethingy Yep. I just have a feeling people won't get the xpansion and just keep either cata, or just not play.

  • @dradone5 orly

  • @Freakylittlethingy For those loyal to the game, and doesn't like the new expansion probably.

  • Comment removed

  • @dradone5 yeah, like me.

  • @Freakylittlethingy Well yep. We have one. Porbably many more.

  • @Freakylittlethingy I quit wow for other reasons early in cata, but you're complaining about pandas in a game where you can play as a dog wearing a top hat, riding a horse while wielding a fish. We've done past the point of no return awhile ago.

  • @Ultimace i hate worgens, i hate pandas.

  • Reminds me of sonic air zone

  • This song helps me to concentrate on my study.:)

Also I can feel relaxed to listen to this!

  • I really wish that blizzard would of made a questing zone that looked like the instance cuz i love the whole city in the sky theme. Blizzard does a very good job at making music fit an envionment.

  • @EVLG

Exactly my thoughts. they needed to make a large portion of Uldum, like half of it, a floating questing zone that looks like The Vortex Pinnacle and has the same music. the architecture and music of this instance is amazing, would really like to have a quest zone like that, too bad they didn't have anything like it.

I mean, don't get me wrong - Uldum has some really cool ideas in there, but I find the Skywall more interesting and unique/original : )

  • the end music is candy for my ears ;p

  • The music, 5 men dungeon, and the enviornment are magnificent.....but the raid sucks. I think Al a' Kir deserves more than just having 3 minions and himself in his own realm.....I mean, he's one of the four elemental lords after all......Yet only Ragnaros gets more attention and contents throughout the game....

  • Don't forget near the end is the epic Throne of the Four Winds theme!

  • i applaud the guys at blizzard for making such great music :)

  • Absolutely beautiful. Amazing, I should say.

    Excellent work, Blizzard!

  • Okay...Who stole God's Ipod!

  • 3 people don't listen to this while sitting by the fireplace wearing a top hat and a monocle, sipping a glass of red wine, while petting their two bull mastiffs.

  • One word:

    freakingawsome

  • It sounds so bittersweet, as if something tragic has just occurred and yet hope is on the horizon. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written for a game, in my opinion. I adore it and appreciate the hard work of the composer(s) and orchestra.

  • Feels like.. victory.

  • 3 ppl are deaf

  • This place is so the new ulduar

  • The ending reminds me of the music of the movie Twister.

  • God, the trumpet players are amazing...

  • The water, earth, and fire elementals disliked this because their air elemental brother has better music.

  • @cbfd234 haha nice one lol def tru

  • It was always a very lavish prison...but it was a prison for the Air Lord none the less...

  • 11:44 Best raid music EVER

  • 11:46 I think God took over the composer's pen for 1 minute and 58 seconds... I'm shivering! THIS IS AMAZING!

  • @K4inan This music is almost mocking, like it's laughing at you, when you're wiping on Al'Akir night after night. But once my guild finally got the hang of him I actually came to enjoy it too :-D

  • @K4inan @K4inan That part of the music is almost mocking, like it's laughing at you, when you're wiping on Al'Akir night after night. But once my guild finally got the hang of him I actually came to enjoy it too :-D

  • such a pretty tune...

  • This was the first cata dungeon I ever did, and boy, did it do a number on me.

I feel so very light, and at the same time wary of the dangers lurking around...

  • 11:44 until the end.

    Epic shiz.

  • 3 people disliked this video, but I am not common, so I won't make an unfunny joke related to it.

  • @MrMonkeypooface 3 people obviously fell off the edge and didn't get caught by the winds.

  • i went to this dungeon yersterday the very first time. now its my favourite one !!

i love this music sooo much

  • the 3 ppl that disliked this prob did it just to make us complain about it >.>

  • when i look at clouds in the afternoon this song goes through my head and the clouds suddenly look like air elementals *-*

  • one water, one fire and one earthelemental disliked this !

  • AL'AKIR YOUR SERVANT CALLS FOR YOUR AID!

  • I played this instance yesterday and it blow my mind! :D Blizzard kicks ass

  • Two people didn't get blown away by this music (cheesy puns ftw!)

  • I'M ON SKYWALL!!! ( It's a realm ) :D

  • @WowCataclysm78 OMG me too XD

  • 11:46.

    Orgasm'd.

  • does those clouds... move?

  • @wowrunner1 Yes, slowly.

  • This plays after King Varian gives the order to purge Orgrimmar.

  • This reminds me of Medal of Honor - Rising Sun.

  • Sounds kind of like the NATO anthem.

  • This music, regardless of having to go there to kill off ravenous wind elementals and evil Tol'vir, makes me feel all safe and happy-like. :3

  • Lando Calrissian made 2 accounts to dislike this video

  • 2 people did not know how to click the slipstream.

  • This entire instance reminds me of a level from one of the original Spyro games. The lofty atmosphere (literally and figuratively), the architecture, the mechanics of falling off of the sides, the golden orbs in Heroic, the air elementals that 'play dead'...it's awesome!

  • How do you get here?!

  • I have Sex to this.

  • FILTHY BEASTS! YOUR PRESENCE IN SKYWALL WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

  • the music is awesome. the instace... not so good :(

  • One person is clearly insane.

  • assad: Al'Akir your servants call for aid!

  • 11:46 is amazing

  • @DralosVos That's from the raid, I'm guessing?

I've never heard it in VP. Its awesome as hell though

  • @DralosVos Heck yeah... first heard this doing Conclave of Winds.. it's pretty epic.

  • 1 earth elemental was here

  • I just love this, I study meanwhile I listen this...

  • 0 dislikes and counting.

  • @megamonkay Someone disliked it. :(

  • Blizzard simply outdid themselves with the Cata soundtrack.

  • best song in wow

  • Is skywall a zone? or a instance?

  • @darkwyvern2 Instance for level 82+

  • @darkwyvern2 I wish it was a zone, it's the est instance Blizzard has ever done, art wise.

  • Sorta like Stormpeaks music was with the epicness

  • @jamal3112 thou this feels bit more than beyond the storms

  • that place looks like a spyro level...

  • Even though I'm just 18, I already feel like I'm in heaven. Skywall is the place for me.

  • Lightning and strong winds constantly swirl about the Skywall, making natural flight in the vicinity all but impossible.

Inside the fortress, Al’Akir the Windlord holds court, ruling over his elemental kin. He enjoys watching over the rest of the plane, traveling in the guise of a thundercloud.[1]

  • The air above the middle tier of the Elemental Plane looks much like Azeroth's sky at first glance. A yellow sun, immobile and persistent, hovers in the air, surrounded by drifting clouds and other, more violent storms. Birds and much stranger creatures flit about.

Above the sun, invisible from the ground, lies the fortress of the air elementals. Thick stone walls, fashioned of rock stolen from the earth below, hang suspended by permanent cyclones in the shape of pillars.

  • This music is classy as fuck!!! I listen to this while sitting by the fireplace, wearing a top hat and a monocle, sipping a glass of red wine, while petting my two bull mastiffs.

  • @Maxer7625 A top hat? Blasphemy!

  • @Maxer7625 Or....you can make a worgen hunter, have one bull mastiff, find a fireplace, top hat, and monocle, and just sit there and look even sweeter.

Cause you and your bull mastiff are both dogs so it's like having 2 but not really cause you ARE the dog.

    What?

  • @Maxer7625 err... what does that have to do with the music? Just say ''This Music makes you walk on the clouds'' ^^

  • @Maxer7625 What are you, a worgen?

  • @Maxer7625 worgeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :D

  • @Maxer7625 you have got style, sir!!!!!

  • Reminds me a little of final fantasy.

  • This will be one of my favourite areas, I just know it!

  • Sounds like Titan Quest music

  • the new most favorite song after storm mountains and ulduar

  • Fantastic :D

  • Some of my favourite music so far, wow just wow. It really, really gets deep inside of you and fills your heart with this feeling of lightness, with a slight feeling of urgency with the drums keeping your feet on the ground. This is pure excellence.

  • @Roranthio good music tends to do that XD

  • @Roranthio Keep yar feet on da ground!

  • @Roranthio Its almost like music i would imagine being played before God's throne hahaha...love it!

  • 11:10-11:40 reminds me of The Shawshank Redemption

  • 11:20-11:40 reminds me of The Shawshank Redemption

  • this is so calming.

its sure to save us all some keyboards when we are 85 and start getting our asses handed to us by the air lord.^^

cuz we shall wipe and wipe and wipe and this will calm us down again after the hunter screws it up again.:3

  • it's so beutifull........ T:T i've actually placed this as my cellphone's ringtone.

when I play wow, I usually do so with the sound off, and my music on. Cata will definitly change that, I could listen to tracks like this all day long and not get tired.

  • This should be Dal's music only without the drums xD

  • Omg. 11:46 This made my entire week more awesome.

  • I'm so stoked on this raid.

  • Nobody can even comprehend the awesomeness in Blizzard's music for Cataclysm

  • @TheDeralte Correction, Blizzard's music in EVERYTHING.

  • @DzagielAreq yes it is music of cata

  • Fantastic! My only thought is that it would sound a lot more... airy with lighter drums.

  • @TheWimbleton I like it, all drums are airy, both heavy and light - because it is all just moving air. The stronger drums give it a more passionate feel too

  • luv it

  • -_-

  • amazing.. but what IS this place? A raid? A dungeon? A zone? what?

  • @ilikechiken72 a set of raids! several in this place!

  • @ilikechiken72 What is the internet, is it a place where I can look up answers to obvious questions like this? Seriously, why are you paying for an internet connection if you're that ignorant to researching information.

  • @BCt0xiN LOL too bad I HAVE looked sorry I'm not completely obssesive and know everything that's going to happen in this expansion

  • Silly elves? I love most of their music, the elf music being some of my favorite. This is also amazing...

  • Seriously, did they hire a whole new musical staff for Cataclysm ? The music of this expansion sounds nothing like the previous ones... And it's gorgeous, needless to say.
