Ace456, slow down playing bass could be a little bit hard first times for a cello player but if you study the right way you could be a good in few years
I switched from cello to bass a few years ago, and 2-3 months is probably just enough for you to get the hang of the instrument. But that's technique, not style or emotion, whatever. You'll be able to play music within a week, probably. The learning curve, especially from cello, is really steep.
but yeah, 2-3 months would give you a "He's pretty good" response

Hi.
I'm a 15 yr old ccellist and I'm interested in playing the bass.
Do you think it's possible for me to be 1/3 as good as this guy in 2-3 months?
Or at least to where people would say, "He's pretty good," after I'm done playing?
