Yes purples deep connection to spirit is why i decided upon that colour for my bedroom & also many of my other purple belongings...i love the colour also :D

Yeah working this big feels really good, you yourself feel like you have more space inside your spirit as you work, thats my experience of it anyhow...hard to fully describe...just a overwhelming feeling of spaciousness & freedom...left me feeling good for days afterwards :D

Fascinating to watch that particular creative process. At one point they seemed like more than one painting. I liked it when you added the two ominous crows coming over the landscape at the end. Great picture, but I preferred it with just two blasted trees. The heavens & the planet are superb.
Yea i know what you mean the more minimal look of just having the 2 trees did look pretty kewl also....or i could of painted maybe one large tree...maybe an old oak tree or something like that...maybe i'll do that next time ;)

wow that goes really well with that bedroom! It reminds me of the weather we had here a couple weeks ago when the temp dropped to about -30° C.
It was so cold that every chimney & smokestack had steam billowing out of it which created clouds that seemed to extend for miles. It was terribly cold but quite a beautiful night.
Our Minnesota winters are sometimes hard to imagine for people in more pleasant climates, but I assure you it is quite true! Fortunately tonight is just a mere -4° C.
Wow! Yes i can imagine those kind of nights in Minnesota must be quiet beautiful & inspiring...i love that kind of moody scenary...helps me to think...or to be quiet :)

I was saddened by the obliteration of the purple textures that fell behind the moon. Such is the progress of a painting with a clear vision behind it. I find the outcome most pleasing. I also entered my largest one ever just today. One day behind yours.
Yea i know what u mean...@ first when thinking about this painting i did imagine making more of the purple paint which is the same paint used 2 paint the wall behind it...but as i know u will b able 2 relate 2 i got into the creative process & made changes as i went along..i don't like 2 have any rigid plans when i work..infact no plans r even better...just see what comes! :)

Yes feeling pretty high spirited after completing this picture, it was a joy 2 paint from start 2 finish...think i'm gonna give oil paints a try next time...i think some of the old oil paintings are very kewl!
You obviously have a lot of patience Pete:) Those silver circles reveal it. Did you use spiral motion to create those circles? Strangely I was thinking of my color pencil sketch with minute circular motions and a few hrs latere you present yours. This is a beautiful spirit art almost like your own dreamcatcher above your head. Beautiful colored wall too! Thank you for sharing this lovely creation with us.

Just used the very end of the paintbrush 4 the purple circles & yes a circular motion with my silver calligraphy pen 4 the silver circles.
