About fucking time! Scientology is nothing but a mind bending piece of shit cult just like all the bullshit cults before it stemming from the 1950s onward. America wake up! Return to your shuls, churches and temples. Embrace the religion your parents gave you! You don't need this bullshit cult! Think for your self!
Question authority especially one that steals your money then your soul! Aliens my ass! A bunch of fucking lemmings marching off a cliff to be with that asshole Hubbard.
Xenu was according to science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions of his people to Earth in a DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Official Scientology dogma holds that the essences of these many people remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm. Members of Scientology widely deny or try to hide the Xenu story.
Now is this twisted or what...and members have to pay thousands of dollars to gain this "mysterious" knowledge. L. Ron Hubbard was a drugged out delusional idiot who duped many gullible people. It continues today under David Miscavage. Sad thing is, people like Tom Cruise and John Travolta actually believe this garbage. This church depends on high profile celebs because of their strong financial influence. They are crooks, the whole lot!
hmm well ill give it to therm france did something right but only beucase they are the rudest and most aragent country every but, i acctuly dont mind france as much becuase of this ~:) lol
All organized religions are cults. Scientology is equally as ridiculous as the other religions. Virgin births and flying bodily into heaven is no more far fetched than Xenu and Dianetics (or whatever else they believe in).
Its not the beliefs that makes it a cult. Its the bait and switch and the destructive official policies the Church of Scientology holds. If you go to any other religion and ask what theyre all about theyll tell you. Free of charge. However, in Scientology you dont really learn what the religion is about until youve already invested some 300,000 US dollars into it. In order for consumers to make a reasoned choice they must have the facts on what they are buying.
Dianetics is nothing more than an example of pseudoscience trying to legitimize itself ... Hubbard, had he indeed been a scientist, would have known that truth is not built on axioms, and facts cannot be found from some a-priori knowledge. A true science is constructed on hypotheses, which are arrived at by the virtue of observed phenomena. Scientific knowledge is gained by observation and testing, not believing from some subconscious stipulation, as Hubbard would have us believe.
It's fantastic that a least one country is taking notice of $cientology's crimes and actually came close to banning the cult. If they are considering these matters, it's likely that other countries may take notice as well.

THIS IS THE QUICK DEFINITION OF THE MINDSET WITHIN A CULT (no personal choice allowed):
1) subjugation under stress and fatigue
2) Social disruption, isolation and pressure
3) Self criticism and humiliation
4) Fear, anxiety and paranoia
5) Control of information
6) Escalating commitment
7) Use of auto-hypnosis to induce 'peak' experiences
8) Pay to play path to enlightenment

Let see the USA do something agianst this Fraud. First step would be to take away its unequal tax status.

Good job, France. Good that they can't scam people everywhere without getting punished. How about the US to follow it?

1 mil is nothing to the CoS. Anything that wouldn't force them into bankruptcy just isn't enough.

It's a good start. They needed a verdict that would stand up to scrutiny and would not be overturned on the grounds of being over heavy handed
