About having sex and being naked, my dad told me something that is so true, at least from the aspect of the person who is wanting to have sex with you... His girlfriend was scared of being naked or having the lights on, and as it sounds harsh he meant it sweet, he basically said to her "Baby I know you're fat, how could I not? I wish I'd seen this video sooner. I've lost at least 20 pounds within the past year, and within that year, I've also lost a good amount of my hair. So I went from being insecure about my weight to being insecure about how thin my hair is now. But you're right. We shouldn't care about what anyone else has to say about how we look. afraid of what will happen when i actually get naked. my boyfriend tells me he loves me, he doesn't care if i have chubby legs or a tummy or flab on my arms because he isn't with me for my body parts. he makes me feel better but i am still just nervous. watching this video i think helped me, i got more motivated to show him ME all of ME and just drop what anyone else has ever said. OMG i love you seriously. I have the biggest problem getting naked in bed with someone i am with, and yes they are all boyfriends that i have had which is less than a handful. But, we all know that isn't the case. My biggest fear with this is that once I lose the weight will I STILL be alone? Probably, more than likely because of my mental mindset. You're absolutely right that it's in the mind set. I just can't seem to get that through my head.

I'm not overweight, but we all have flaws. Some are overweight, underweight, tall, short, big nose, small nose. I don't share my bed with anyone because I'm a Christian and I believe in waiting until marriage - but for the confidence issues, you're absolutely right, it comes from within, and it SHOWS to the rest of the world.

It's not something people should feel ashamed of, but it's not something that should be promoted as flawless. I used to carry some extra weight until I was around 15, and I lost it for health reasons, not cosmetic.

There are "overweight" (as defined by a number on the scale) people with perfectly healthy cholesterol levels, blood pressure, etc. "Overweight" was defined by media as "ugly" and "disgusting", but then they realized it made them seem superficial and insensitive, so they put up the cover of "unhealthy."
