For a beginner, I'd go with a D. The C's will give you a deeper sound which many people really enjoy. Higher key didges move faster which allows the experienced player more 'agility' when playing but the mouth and lips are tighter for a higher key didge. Learn on a D and eventually when you're able to pick up and play any didge, you'll have a better time at knowing what feels better for you.
Man, those Stix didgeridoos are amazing, it sounds like you have got 2 or 3 of you playing at the same time. I was on their web site last night and could not believe how they sing along. Unfortunately I can't afford that sort of cash at the moment but one day. ;-)
I have to make do with more budget versions. I have a Wollybutt in D, a bloodwood in C#, a slide didge , and a big bamboo one in low G# Respect

Thats a lovely didge, it really sings when you play.Ive got a Sycamore in C wich has the same
wide bore and similar sound....Great playing mate !
