Lance Lipinsky played Jerry Lee far better then what ive seen of Levi Kreis. Kreis is acting... Lipinski is being jerry lee... infact, he grew up with jerry lee as his hero every single manerism of the killer down. he infact even looks more like the young killer then Levi does.... dont give all this credit to mr Kries... he sure as hell wasnt as good as what i saw in the second city
See Jerrys face light up when the guiterest starts playing, he was good.. i dont understand why the cast have what looks like 70s glam rock clothes on???
Jerry Lee was good and I'm sure Levi and the other guys enjoyed it too. MDQ represents all the rock n' roll guys just right and yes, with respect. They were totally awesome. I'm sure Johnny, Carl and Elvis in heaven were rocking right a long. Thanks for all the memories and thanks to MDQ for re-living for us the fans.
cannot believe this jerk standing next to Jerry jumped in and started playing on Jerrys keyboard..showed no respect to Jerry Lee ..that is something you just do not do..even Jerry did not do that to Elvis one the same day when Jerry meet Elvis ...Jerry waited for Elvis to offer it..the ego and nerve of this jerk.
I thought the cast esp. Levi Kreis behaved very respectfully. and you better believe Jerry wouldn't have been extending his hand if he hadn't been pleased too!!
this show has been nothing but great for keeping JLL's name and music out there.
This was historic and "The Eye" was there! Pandemonium when The Killer came out at the end. Scheduled for two songs, they would't let him leave. So he did three! Levi hit the right note between reverence & participation. Truly, an intoxicating night of theatre. "The Eye" even ran into former President Clinton on the way out. By the way, Bubba loved it!
DollsDoll got it right! What a tremendous talent that appears nightly. JLL killed "shake" @ :50-:55 as a vocalist I gained a whole new respect for the man! Love the hand shake between them at the end of the song too
@qwer4o, @Atomicflash500 - It don't much matter now, but I just finally saw this video. We rehearsed this stuff in the afternoon, and it was Jerry Lee who extended the offer to Levi to join in on the songs, I couldn't imagine JLL putting up with anybody stepping on his toes. Hell I watched him cuss out James Burton once for playing a guitar solo that was "too good".
@qwer4o - Damn straight- if George Jones can still do "Rockin Chair" throwing his legs around on stage at the age of 80, then Jerry can still kick stools and rock the piano for as long as he wants! I'd love to watch him rock that piano when he's 90.
@qwer4o THATS RIGHT!! THE SHINGLES WERE REALLY HARD ON JERRY...BUT JUST LOOK AT THAT SMILE!! THE KILLER ROCKS ON!!! I DONT CARE HOW OLD HE GETS HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST THATS EVER BEEN!! AND NOBODY SHOULD TOUCH JLL's PIANO!!!
Take easy folk, he is recovering from a recent illness. Few days earlier this performance he couldn't walk without assitence. Not he kicked the stoll a bit. I bet he hill better next weeks..
Let's not forget that it is a great honor for the MDQ cast for JLL to join for a cameo! The Killer has no problem criticizing others who have not represented his likeness to his liking. The honor really belongs to the brilliant Levi Kreis whose talent and charisma generated all of this enthusiasm to begin with, and he behaves like a real gentleman and class act. Way to go Levi! The Killer's tempos may be a bit slower, but the voice and the internal fire are still there. A great moment!
he's awesome. lucky enough to have seen him at VLV last year. how cool for the cast!

Jerry Lee was sick and exhausted when he did this. Now he is doing alot better and really rocking. Look at the Las Vegas concert.

Levi Creis is grinning ear to ear that the real Jerry Lee was there.

Why is this douche touching Jelly Lee's piano?? That's a fucking sacrilege.
Jerry is not too old, he's recovering from an illness. He'll be fine.
