Of course the FDA wants to squash the electronic cigarette market! Ecigs cut into the money they receive from the tobacco lobbyists! V2CIGS.com is an American company that is based in Florida. Use code “ thankburgess “ for 15% off starter kits.
Let me chime in. I quit smoking real cigs with this device. The initial cost was 69.00. Since starting to use this, I have NOT had a real cig in three days. I can't believe how easy it is. When using an e cig, I can feel my pulse and it's normal. When I smoked a regular cig, it would elevate my pulse. I can tell a BIG difference in the way I feel. You don't have to buy the expensive cartridges, you can buy refill carts and fill them with the e liquid and save a lot of money. Do research on it.
An e-cig w/o the smoke might be less damaging to health than a reg. cig, only if the amount of nicotine absorbed from the oil is the same.
What is worse, the chemicals and smoke in a cigarette or the nicotine? That's a no win argument. Long term absorbtion of smoke can lead to cancer, obstructive lung disease etc. Longterm usage of nicotine can lead to circulatory disease, which can lead to heart attack or stroke.
Smoke away but don't kid yourself about the risks.
Yea this thing sucks. I got one about a month ago and wish I didn't. First of all it doesnt feel like a cigarette at all because of the weight. Second of all the battery lasts like one use. The feeling isnt at all like a cigarette and if anything makes it so that you want to smoke more. Theres hardly any smoke or throat hit so if you think this thing is cool then take it from me its a waste of money.
I forgot to mention that the smoke cartridges cost about the same as a pack of cigarettes and last only for about a half a pack, so you don't save any money.
A massive prank will be pulled on "comedian" Fred on youtube.
What is trying to be done is get everyone that has a subscription to fred, to unsubscribe. If this is succsesful, then it will make the news, cause controversy, and best of all, destroy fred!
This is bullshit. I rather inhale the carbonmonoxide than the nicotine. Nicotine has very powerful effects on arteries throughout the body. Nicotine is a stimulant, raises the blood pressure and is a vasoconstrictor, making it harder for the heart to pump through the constricted arteries. It causes the body to release its stores of fat and cholesterol into the blood. Only immoral sales people and useful idiots will promote it.
Sure. Whatever would help your argument. There isn't a doctor or scientist alive who would say that carbon monoxide is less toxic then nicotine. In fact, every publication I have read has said that nicotine should be avoided only if you have high blood pressure.
By the way, nicotine being a stimulant is a benefit.
I advise you to read the entire article about the toxicology of nicotine in wikipedia like I did. It's always better to educate oneself than assume. Nicotine eventually leads to high blood pressure, so it's kind of an oxymoron to say that nicotine should only be avoided if you already have high blood pressure.
I quit smoking cold turkey. Always looking for a quick fix whenever there's a problem is a flaw of character and ultimately leads to failure and shortcomings in all apsects of life.
If you love your body, I'd recommend you quit smoking right this minute without compromise, not even a last cigarette. You need to raise the stakes and tell yourself that if you can't quit smoking, you're a big loser and if you succeed, you'll become a confident bad ass and there's nothing you can't accomplish in life. For better health, you should smoke marijuana 3 times a week (not more), which among many other benefits prevents brain tumors. Read about medicinal marijuana in Wikipedia!
You're comparing Nicotine with Caffeine? That's like comparing 9mm bullets with BB pellets. I said I quit cold turkey, not the hard way. It is only hard if you entertain the thought that it is hard. Your thought patterns eventually becomes your reality. A life full of quick fixes for every problem you face, will eventually make your life very hard, because you are trying to solve an effect with another effect, instead of looking at the cause.
I am sorry if you dont believe medical evidence. Nicotine is a stimulant nothing more nothing less. This is medical evidence, but seeing as I have a nursing degree that must mean absolutely nothing right? I am sorry that you feel the need to listen to the propaganda that everyone gives you. Learn to think for yourself dearie.
I don't know which propganda you ASSUME I have heard, but I do think for myself. That's also why I was able to quit by myself. Thinking critically and not following the culture of quick fixes is part of the same strong personal character. EVIDENCE says that Nicotine is a powerful stimulant with tons of known and unknown side effects, such as circulatory disease: raising blood pressure, is a vasoconstrictor, making it harder for the heart to pump through the constricted artieries, et cetera.
You are taking this as a personal offense dear, which it is not. To say that the E-cig is dangerous is like saying penicillin is dangerous just because it is formed from mold. The fact is, the E-Cig is saving lives whether you like it or not. Simple as at.
I take no personal offense, even though you're patronizing me and try to make it personal. You're the one rather who seem to take great offense about me warning about Nicotine or perhaps you have commercial interests in this product, which by the way might even be more dangerous than conventional cigarettes as you might inhale a lot more Nicotine from those oils. Further research is required. I'm just looking out for your average joe and have no commercial interests, whether you like it or not.
I beg to differ. Lethal caffeine intoxication occurs in excess of 300 mg with the average person. That's almost like 100 cups of coffee. There is no scientific report that says caffeine leads to circulatory desease, as is the case with nicotine. Au contraire, stimulants differ from one another and are not the same in neither effect nor side effect.
I don't remember ever mentioning anything about ODing on nicotine. I thought we were comparing the negative side effects of normal usage of nicotine vs. normal usage of caffeine. Between the two, only normal nicotine usage has an enormous risk to lead to circulatory disease.
Why did you bring up the level it takes to OD on coffee? It seems like you were implying that it's easier to OD on cigarettes. In fact, it would take about 4 packs in one sitting. That may be a bit more realistic than 100 cups of coffee, but both are completely ridiculous.
The point was not what you can OD on, but what is lethal. Normal usage of Caffeine is not lethal, normal usage of Nicotine is lethal. We're talking long term usage here. Are you finally with me, because I don't know how I could make this more clear to you? 60 mg (5 cigarettes) absorbed at once can kill an adult. That number is a little higher for a regular smoker, but not much. Anyway, you were way off with 4 packs (80 cigarettes). A toddler who eats just one cigarette can die from poisoning.

I have smoked for 25 years, and now I use the SmokeStik. I LOVE it, and it does not taste bad at all. I will tell you that I did not have my SmokeStik one day and I asked a friend for a tobacco based cig. I could actually taste the chemicals in the real cig. There are over 50 chemicals in a real cigarettes that are known carcinogens. I love it and I will NEVER go back to a regular cig. Thank you SmokeStik...my whole family now has at least one! :)
I truly hope that these get passed. Its not a stop smoking aid, its a healthier alternative. I dont smoke anymore myself but this is a freakin good idea!!

First of all, "shaunhostick" let it go. Your months of posts looks like an obsession. Cold turkey doesn't work for everyone. People are different
Second, Sure it's probably not 100% safe but neither are the doctor prescribed drugs with their side effects that make you crazy.
Last, It is a step in the right direction.
