yes it does. a 330i is a 3 series 3.0 L

a 350 is a 3 series 5 L

the numbers actuallydo mean the engine size and series

335i is a twin turbo 3l.

525d is a 3l

116i 118i is a 2l etc

yeah again no. Even though they arent always accurate. My fault for no be specific, but the last two numbers are usually the engine displacement.

the code in lets say a 530xi

its a 5 series BMW with a 3.0 liter engine. x means all wheel drive and i means injection.

yes thats true, though if you know BMW's you would know that some a linked and some aren't depending on model, like the 325i E92 is using 3L but before it used 2.5 litre, but i guess it was just a coincidence i think they should name it by engine code eg S65B40 more easier to understand.

complimenti ottimo pilota gran macchina! Una curiosità, ma questi traversi si possono ottenere con l'electronic differential locked montato sul 130i seconda serie?

non sono un esperto, ma un semplice appassionato, ma mi sento di dirti che l'EDL con ogni probabilità agendo sui freni serve solo ad evitare che la ruota interna vada "in fumo" in accelerazione, ma difficilmente potrà avere una percentuale di blocco simile a quella di un vero LSD, perchè altrimenti ad andare in fumo sarebbero le pastiglie dei dischi freno.

ti mangia un sacco di pastiglie e basta, senza contare che si tratta comunque di un freno, quindi perdi anche velocità!

non capirò mai perchè le case automobilistiche siano diventate "allergiche" ai differenziali autobloccanti.. la BMW lo monta solo sui modelli M... la Mercedes addirittura li propone come optional sulle AMG che hanno coppie da autoarticolato! misteri...

penso che dipenda solo dal fatto che sono molto costosi, e solo pochissimi utenti li saprebbero davvero utilizzare ed apprezzare!pensa che per un utente medio un auto con autobloccante è più difficile (quindi pericolosa) da usare!

sono cmq d'accordo che l'ideale sarebbe offrifli in opzione, come fa la lotus, o l'alfa per la 147Q2 (che però è quasi un modello a sè) o come succedeva per la MX5!!

uno degli esempi più grotteschi è forse la mustang shelby gt 500, che ha un differenziale autobloccante ... che non blocca... e tutto questo - pare - per evitare, visto che negli USA è una macchina abbastanza abbordabile, che "mani inesperte" possano farcisi - e farci - male... che roba!

Io ti consiglierei le auto giapponesi... tipo skyline, supra, silvia, ecc. ma dato ke sono difficili da trovare in italia, opterei per una bmw z3 o z4, da quello ke so per la z3 sarebbe piu` adatto il modello coupe` dato ke ha un motore di cilindrata superiore, oppure mazda rx-7 o rx-8 o anke la ford sierra, mustang, o ancora la honda s2000...(nn sono un esperto e anke se sono un po` giovane mi sono informato per il futuroXD) se ti e` stato utile fammi sapere...

guarda io è un pò che seguo il mondo del drift.. z3 e z4 meglio lasciar perdere almeno che non siano le 3.2 con autoblocc di serie..... io cerco una media potenza 250cv coa autoblocc di serie.. s2000.. s15.. rx8 (che non comprerò mai..)... sennò si va su tipo m3 e roba simile.... il 130i sarebbe perfetto.. solo la besia che non ha l'autoblocc e mettercelo oltre ad essere costoso dopo voglio vedere cosa dicono i semiassi ecc.... che balls
