I agree with LordBicen to a point. Yes, Wonder Woman's only in Supergirl's class because of those, but she has them on 90% of the time! Besides, Wonder Woman is more experienced, has more endurance, and her weapons are magic. Give her a sword, lasso, or even a shield, and Supergirl's done. Otherwise, Wonder Woman would have to avoid being hit even once, as kryptonians are too much for even an enhanced Amazon!

There are several versions. The first Supergirl was wished for by Jimmy Olsen after rubbing a magic lamp (and getting a genie). The second was Kara Zor-El (or Zor-L, depending on the setting. Email me for more info), his cousin from Krypton, and the third was one was from another dimension. You're talking about the 3rd version of th character, who's retired. A few years ago, DC brought back the 2nd (best-known) cersion, who WAS kryptonian. Out of characters.

There was a version in Superman: the Animated Series identical to the 2nd version, but she was just a kryptonian girl, not Superman's cousin. The 3rd version was active at the time, which could explain it. There are so many because the 1st version has only 1 appearance, the 2nd was killed then brought back, and the 3rd appeared/retired during #2's absence.

Another small difference which escapes all but the true Supergirl fans is the spelling of the names. The Jimmy Olsen version's name was spelled Super-Girl, not Supergirl. She was a test Supergirl character to see if readers would accept a female version of Superman. August 1958 issue of Superman was her only appearance. Action Comics (Feb 1959) introduced the one most people are probably more familiar with.

Thanks for the Support Batfan, some people just take Fandom to a whole new level. Dont get me wrong, I like Both Characters, and while this is all Hypothetical anyway, Try to remember people, that WW and SG would never fight, because they are both good women, and ARE ON THE SAME SIDE! Aside from some Mind Altering Ray, neuro-gas, magic Spell or some other D.C. Driven plot twist by some Evil Doer (E.G. Lex Luthor) to sell comic books, they would never fight each other.

I cheated. The zerogs plugin for linux can't capture images, so I had to hack it to save the frames to .jpgs. The trick is that it only saves one out of every three frames, and I create the .avi at 18fps, so it looks like it's flying, even though the actual game runs only at 24fps (on a 2.3 Ghz core2 duo).
