Based on the way Judas is holding his cloak, I'd say Dracula: 2000 was right. He did become a vampire.

You know in Sunday School that always made me wonder when they told about the Last Supper if Judas recieved the bread and blood or not. But here it almost makes sense seeing how well the actor is emoting his guilt over what he is about to do, like that is all his head is wrapped up in that he can't even eat or drink anything.
