i think the guy playing the violin is a phony. review seconds 1:15-1:32. he stops playing and the violin keeps going. awesome video anyways, if you are actually playing

yeah if you play violin or guitar, mandolin is so easy. i mostly play celtic music on the mandolin its awesome :D

ejunkt, if you are looking for an upgrade flat-top mandolin that has a wonderful tone for a fair price, you should check out the Mid Missouri mandolins. I purchased one and actually like it better than F-style mando I had before. Once again, a nice performance.

haha, this is actually a martin backpacker mandolin. it's the cheapest one that i could find at the time. i'm considering adding a new mandolin to my collection. any suggestions?

we also rearranged this selection to include a cello, but i forgot to record that performance... too bad, because the cellist was awesome (just like my violinist buddy here).
