I`ve also read a couple of books thru the years & seen a few cutting edge tv documentaries & formed my own - admitedly fairly radical - view as to what went on.

I was brought up on the idea of the Founding Fathers being whiter than white, but the real history of what the revolutionary war was about is more radical & complex than the simplistic version that`s been taken as gospel.
