  • you've got 10 minutes....go give it to her!

  • Coogan = comedy genius

  • give him a 3rd series you shit!!!!!!!!

  • Genius.

  • I cant laugh with a crowd of ghosts laughing.

  • Anyone one know the music he is playing?

  • @MrSamt86 it's return of the saint from the tv show The Saint

  • @SeraphNofel Good man!

  • Which episode number is this?.. :D

  • he drummed the toms the wrong way on the fill and the snare beat was too fast.

    what?

  • Get in, Lynn!

  • Can't believe how shit prime time comedy for the masses is. Partridge & Peep Show are comic genius. Loving Mid Morning Matters!

  • TEN MINUTES LYNN

  • anyone know the tune he was bangin

  • @MrSalfordm7 the theme to 'The man from U.N.C.L.E.' i think

  • @MrSalfordm7 The Return Of The Saint.

  • @Stokie09123 thanks man

  • Good to see there are lots people who love Alan as much as i do :). my non virtual friends don't like it for some crazy reason. "Lyn, these are sex people!" "Why do birds..." "Smell my cheese you mother!" "every line in every episode is brilliant. one of my top three fav comedy series along with "peepshow" and "Black books" going to put on series two later while i eat a cheese sandwich, hot egg, cooked meat, crescent of crisps and cress. :)

  • Best air drums OF ALL TIME!

  • mid morning matters!

  • 5 people don't understand classic comedy .

  • @LakiinnNUFC 5 people wanted more than 10 minutes!

  • "Im trying to lighten the mood with a Nazi voice"

  • Pmsl... I've got one and in the same colour, it's a top motor, 2004 and still drives like new, thank f###k my names not Alan lol...

  • alan had been listening to that song for 10 minutes on loop

  • @PokerPlum i know hilarious!

  • What would Alan be driving now? Of course, Rover is dead so I reckon a Jaguar X-Type, which I think is crap and not a real Jag, and very middle-England (I see a lot of them around where I live). Hyacinth Bouquet would have one if Keeping Up Appearances was still going. That Lexus IS is now something of a boy-racer/chav type of car (Raoul Moat had one). Or would Alan plump for the ugly new Jaguar XF if he had the money?

  • @graemeoliver84 Are you autistic or are those the words of Top Gear magazine?

  • @GriffinNary Neither :p

  • to be fair...i didnt understand why lynn always pulled theses odd faces in this series when she never pulled them in the previous 2

  • Dont even get me going about Dibley idiot series for idiot viewers.

  • You got 10 minutes -- go give it to her~

  • Whats the song called at 0.38 seconds till 1.0 minit please anyone know?

  • @Stox391 its the 'return of the saint' theme, late 70's tv series, hero drove a white xjs if i remember

  • That one was a fucking killer

  • "trying to lighten the mood with a Nazi voice" =D

  • The underground base of an evil genius... and Dr No.

  • This is my fave program and I'm 12!

  • @NoPantsMhayn OMG SAMEE?!!?!!??!?!? :D :D :D

  • i cant help feeling lynn deserves everything that alan throws at her. Just look at her!

  • unwinds window haha''Ten minuites lynne!!''

  • I'd like to sing to Lynne:

    Tell you what...

    Tell you what....

Your boss is a total git

  • does anyone know what show the music alan listens to in the car is from? thanks.

  • @SUPERTOUCHOX2 its the theme tune from return of the saint

  • @SuperPissflaps Was Ian Beale involved?

  • @SUPERTOUCHOX2 Think it's the theme from Return of The Saint Tv show.

  • do fit women find it attractive in a man that he knows every single line and delivery style and finds it funny every single time?

    if not, im fucked

  • @whereszorro I'm a woman and I'm looking for that man, not sure how fit I'm considered though!

  • "No offence Lynn but technically your life is not worth insuring"

  • LOL he is such an asshole.

  • @LesMillsHuttCity Asshole? You sound like you like American things, like Dr. Pepper. It tastes like fizzy Benylin.

  • @Robnek Haha. Great line :) You're hanging around with a man that uses a collective term for a single vehicle!

  • wow i love that show!!!

  • I'm sorry - that was just a noise.

  • BEEEEEEP!! 10 minutes lynne!!

    Bloody Classic

  • return of de saint omg funny as fuck ... classs pure class

  • return of the saint, i made a video using the track, that features dick cheney

  • it had an under lining... but it perished

  • cool drummer moves lol

  • Always makes me laugh and so needed a laugh today...now off to watch Alan and foot through a spike..

  • alan partridge is a legend:)

you got 10 minutes go give it to her.

    lmfao xD

  • there needs to be new episodes of this made

  • @jimmyshitbags Webisodes coming soon =D

  • @jimmyshitbags search mid morning matters, i think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

  • alan partridge is a fantastic show

It perfectly portrays the average midlife british male but only much funnier.

  • "I'm trying to lighten the mood with a Nazi voice"

  • fukin top track

  • That was liquid drumming! Go give it to her, lol.

  • The faces Lynn pulls are so funny, and to think she didn't get best comedy support actress it went to the girl in the vicar of dribble, now that is a crime.

  • i thought her face in this series spolit it.she never ever pulled these faces in the previous series so why suddenly start ? does anyone else agree?????

  • 100% I agree. Not in the first series so why in the second?

It makes her almost cartoon like. No need whatsoever.

  • @jellis4465 even worse Alan Partridge was 42nd in top 100 british comedies behind the likes of birds of a feather, but then its a public vote. dibley at no.3???

  • @innit27

I agree, I just hate the......... general public.

  • @jellis4465 That's because the majority of the population are fucking morons.

  • @blackbeltste Yes and half of them are running the country.

  • @jellis4465 Zing!!

  • "I'm trying to lighten the mood with a nazi voice". Damn, just took a sip of my coffee before he said that. Had to struggle to keep it in. Of course, one should never drink while watching Alan Partridge :)

  • please tell me what is the music he's "air"ing to?

  • It's the theme tune from Return Of The Saint, a tv show Roger Moore was in.

  • the tune is "return of the saint" but actor was ian ogilvy. moore was in "the saint"

  • no, he was in the saint not return of the saint, which the tune is

  • Comment removed

  • NO MORE ZEN TEN MINEETS!

  • Limit your mourning to no more than 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!

  • 10 MINUTES LYNN

  • go give it to her.

  • just cant be beaten.

  • 10 MINUTES LYNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Air bass and air drums such a brilliant musician

  • I can't say, "Can you not laugh at this?" or "Can you laugh a little bit less at that?" The first series also had the laughter as well.'

In case any of you don't think Armando is telling the truth:

    membersDOTlycosDOTcoDOTuk/sotclips/iap_indexDOThtml

  • I was sure it was canned laughter until I read this:

    Canned Laughter Controversy

    Armando Iannucci Responds.

The I'm Alan Partridge producer and co-writer apologised for any loss of enjoyment caused by the laughter track on the new series, when he appeared on Nicky Campbell's Radio Five Live show.

'It's not canned laughter. We recorded it in front of a studio audience. If anything, I tried to tone it down. If Steve blows his nose there is a round of applause. TBC

  • it cant be that hard to de-laugh track im alan partridge, should be done!

  • I think this is my favourite scene involving Alan, period.

  • what is the song at the end, on the credits thing, when the "Alan partridge Dedicated Song" comes up.

  • "You can call me Al" by Paul Simon

  • can someone give me the name of this song please the new adventures of the saint theme doesnt help me atall

  • It's the theme tune to Return Of The Saint which I think was a tv show.

  • do you not understand the canned laughter is post-modern irony? jeeez...

  • Do you think the studio only has one recording of laughter?? obviously not, its not live.

  • Why put fucking canned laughter on it?? RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr

  • It isn't. You'll notice at some points the laughter is different, mainly because it's played in front of a live audience.

  • Still, that's the only thing which bothers me about I'm Alan Partridge.

It's a strong enough show in itself so that we do not need to be told when to laugh.

  • Yeah, I actually agree with this. I've never been a fan of having laughter on TV shows. If it's funny, then I'll know when to laugh :)

That said, I'm Alan Partridge is hilarious.

  • that is textbook air drumming...superb!

  • Couldn't believe it first time i saw this.

    I do believe it now.

  • I think the theme music is "The new adventures of the saint" which stared Ian Oglivy and played on tv in the 1970s. Now that will show you my age as I remember it [vaguely].Its the incidental stuff like this that not only adds a new dimension to the comedy it just makes it even more hilarious.

  • It's the theme from The Saint (I think...)

  • the Return of the Saint....

  • "you've got ten minutes go give it to her" :)

  • I'm in love with Coogans face :)

  • NO MORE THAN TEN MINOOTS!

  • I love the honking and "Ten minutes Lynn!" - classic Alan :)

  • go give it to her!

    amazing.

  • When it says where to find the clip, what music is it? I recognise it

  • The music at the end is 'You can call me Al' by Paul Simon.

  • Airdrumtastic!

  • can any 1 tell me where to find the theme tune to the return of the saint ????????????

  • do you want me to send it to you?

  • yes please, i want it as a mp3 tho

  • please send me your e- mail address and ill send it over :) it only comes as an mp3 so your in luck :P

  • couldn't this have been done via PM you pair of fannys.

  • bit late now don't you think?

  • well, you'll know for next time. now fuck off.

  • lol why dont we both fuck off eh? this is after all a comedy channel - if you want to continue throwing insults at me then just PM me.

  • both replies were kinda tongue-in-cheek mate :)

  • 'classic queen' as alan pertridge says.

he is one of the best comedians in the world.

    :B

    srsly.

  • i love how his face is so serious

  • lmao lmao i love it!!!!

its the way he bobs his head and moves his wrists so quickly and does the big drum break and moves his arms everywhere!!! lmao!!

  • "No more zan ten meenoots!"

  • southerner1986, the song is the theme music intro from an old show called 'The return of the saint'. Air drum away my good man. lol!

  • We've all been there doing the drums when nobody's looking!

  • Sure have...but "there" for me has never been the graveyard.

  • genius, ive got that tune on my iPod haha well good

  • Same here, always puts a smile on the face

  • all his shows are great! very funny. he should make a new series.

  • *winds window down*...."ten minutes lynn!"

  • i say this to my sister while im parked up and shes drawing monies from the cashpoint! lol

    10 MINUTES LYNN!

    smell my cheese you mother

  • That is some awesome air drumming! Anyone know the name of that track? (I fancy having a go myself!!!)

  • gellis07 . spot on words,very well put.

  • fantastic

  • Yeah Dungarth! Shut the fuck up!

  • you've got ten minutes go give it to her'' haha

    best creation made ever.

  • Dungarth: 'only understood by the upper middle class?' I'm not 'UMC' and I love Partridge. I'd hazard a guess you'r a classic example of an out of touch, pompostuos, tory faggot, who for some unknown reason equates BMX riding 'hoodies' with Chubby Brown.

  • pompostuos,??

    Liquid Vocabulary!

Perfectly combines the charm of "Pompous" with the verbal severity of "preposterous" !!

    FANTABULOUS!

  • That's fucking excellent, I remember that first time round.

  • What a genius. What I love about Partridge is that he is strangely charismatic. He really is a genius creation.

  • clever comedy. its realistic and makes you believe that alan partridge could be a real person. Not like other comedys that tend to go over the top and leave u thinkin "that would never hapen"

  • Legend....

  • fantastic stuff I agree

  • 10 MINUTES LYNN!!

  • i have lots of friends who dont think partridge is funny! should i drop them and find new friends who do? who will be my friend? answers on a postcard

  • i dont hang round with bmx hoddies! one of my friends is the uks no1 chubby brown tribute [chubby live ] and he is a massive alan partridge fan, so that blows your theory out of the water!

i have upper middle class friends and they just dont get partridge, in fact i upset them by telling them to get a sense of humour, showed them the mentalist episode [alan attack] and they just didnt laugh once YOU PEOPLE I shouted lol

  • i drop partridge quotes all the time but no 1 gets them, i end up laffing to myself. Potter would understand, a fellow conesuire of partridge!!

  • Partridge is a piss take on the upper middle class, posterity has nothing to do with humor. I'd be considered working class and love nothing better than watching the awkward moments of Alan. Either you like it or don't.

  • I think its always a good idea to drop them.

  • Hilarious! And some great air drumming too. :))

  • When ever im depressed Alan Partridge never fails to bring a smile to my face. Thx a million Mr Coogan.

  • same here he really cheers you up , yea thans steve coogan

  • Well its only Lexi when there is another Lexus in the conversation. Alan and Dan drive Lexi :p

  • I love the way he drums on the steering wheel at 0.37 to 0.40

  • Nothing like this to get a Saturday morning off to a good start! - Class Partridge!

  • i feel like eating insane amounts of toblerone , buying the rights to k9 the dog from doctor who , and driving up to dundee in bare foot! , but god dont go near london or youll buy a car and find that its two front ends welded together with some chaps rtibcage under the bonnet and a testi and the gear stick

  • He's in his Lexus and this like all the other scenes are pure genius!

  • Brilliance of Coogan. <3

Anyone know what car he's driving btw?

  • Its his Lexus. He feels it is the Japanese Mercedes.

  • im giving paul simon a phone.

  • lmao, makes me laugh when he is looking round while playing air drums, looks as if he is trying to get the drumming spot on, you see the serious look on his face LOL

    classic partridge

  • what is the music he plays drums to?

  • return of the saint theme

  • Alan Partridge's playing Plug in Baby in his car! Sort of. Vaguelly. roflol. :D

What's that ep where he has flashbacks of binge-eating? And he's like calling someone for help & rolling around, lmao...
