I recently traveled the world (California - Germany) to marry my finace; however, she gave me the engagement ring back after only 3 days; & on Christmas night she called a taxi to pick me up & take me to the airport. I was supposed to spend 18 days with her (my soulmate or so I believed). I flew back to California and then decided to visit family in Florida. Every crisis is a blessing, yet we are often blinded by emotional attachments to see these blessings. Any words of wisdom? Thank You.

@cxmichelle Hello. Well, I think everyone has her / his own definition of this space she has mentioned. Someone wrote that as people we can become perfect only when we love. And that space between, I don't know, for me it means the magic created by shared memories and feelings. That magic flows around us as long as we are open to notice it. Hope I could help. @koniczynkaL um...so what about "in the attempt" she said at last? does she mean like we should take action to build a relationship even it has little chance to succeed? but why did she say "who cares?" in such a sad tone..? is she not having faith in action or what?
@cxmichelle The truth is building a relationship is difficoult. It's not hard to fail, it's not easy to win like the song says. The attempt means that we do understand that our love may not work - for example we will make many mistakes - but we want to take a chance anyway. Celine says who cares because she does have faith and that's why we have to keep trying. One more quote: "To love is to open yourself to loss. That's the bargain we make with ourselves. Because it's worth it" : )
I love when she says that if there's a god it is in the space between 2 people. it's so profound. beautiful movie, i always discover something new to appreciate on that.
The BEST movie..so deep,witty,inteligent,brilliant! You can always realize something from different angle...beautiful. + the two of them make it so natural,not even one secund doesnt seem like acting...simply two regular people somewhere accidentaly walking through camera....all you can do is love the movie,it doesnt leave you any other choise..
