Two years ago my neighbour moved out and USPS ,by mistake stopped delivering MY mails for more than a month, because they mixed everything up.I had to pay over a $100 in late fees on my bills because of them.Just last week,they said they delivered the package to me and I have not received a thing.Right now I am waiting for another package that is sitting somewhere in a Pa office for over a week now.They suck,avoid them!!!
I Hate the USPS I live in santa clarita california and they sent it from newhall california thats VERY CLOSE and yet its gonna take thme fking 12 days for the damn pakage to get to my house -.- WTF You cant get 1 day shipping through them either AND there package tracking system sucks also I hate it UPS UPS UPS is the best. they should take up mailing letting also -.-lol get rid of the USPS and just let UPS do everything.
@SEPHIROTHSMASTER Ups is also known for losing packages , ask amazon.com. if i order something, and it goes missing , i would call amazon who would track it and they always tell me that they ups is always a problem. All services have there up and down ,no one is perfect and also if want to mail a letter with ups, its almost 11 dollars compare to 44 cent in which the post office would charge you, think about that.
wow not a good idea to mail money (use your computer) if you do mail anything of value insure its a few bucks, the usps goes thru milllions of pieces of mail a day sometimes the machines that sort them rip or even explode the piece, it just happens. just common sense sorry for your loss due to your stupidity haha. if you privatize it will be the same, what private delivery agency delivers extreme high volumes of letter mail to every address in the country for extreme low prices? doesnt exist.
I agree totally, the Post Office has gone to hell, I shipped a priority mail box out and it said it would be there in 4 days, turns out it got lost and took about 10, I got media mail service and paid for priority mail, what was there response: Things get lost and delayed, thank you. What idiots, well I mailed a first class letter to the same PO Box, guess what it still hasn't arrived and it was suppose to take 2 days, they suck, this has happened dozens of times to me over the years:(

I live Hollywood CA. The postal service here flat out DOES NOT deliver packages to me. (besides things that come in an envelope) They leave a failure to deliver notice and then speed walk away without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door. It doesnt matter if i am home waiting for the package. It does not get to me because they make no attempt at delivery. The failure to deliver notice has become a way for them to completely avoid delivering things. Lazy pricks should be jobless. USPS sux
@ScreamingForClemency you postal situation sound like the management in your district want you carriers to get back to the postal station ant a certain time and trust me, management don't care if the carrier has a package for you or not, he better back back at the station at 3:30pm or it his job, the workers in your area are under alot of pressure now, i wouldn't be surprise if the carriers boss told him to leave you a slip.Work something out with that carrier next time

my advice is stop using money orders and start using personal checks. if they dont get to their destination you dont lose any money. the post office is garbage. in the past year ive had a package delivered to me damaged beyond belief as well as two other packages not show up at all, even though there was tracking information online stating that the packages were delivered at times when i know someone was home to sign for them if necessary. its nonsense.

The carrier also didn't leave a delivery attempt notice. I called USPS to redeliver the package and they didn't do it. Complaints also fall on deaf ears; emails are unanswered. I'll go so far as to say I believe the post office in my area is stealing mail, because they know they can get away with it.

I'm having an issue now due to my package being scanned in at my post office but not delivered to me. They also told me something along the lines of postage on it needed to better. What makes me so mad is I ordered what my son wanted for Christmas and attached to the online order was the $3.00 postage. I didn't have the option of adding insurance with the company. But, why and the hell can't they deliver a small simple package if the address is correct. I'm out $50. Merry Xmas to whoever got it.
In 6 weeks time, the post office managed to lose three pieces of my mail! Two coming to me, one leaving me. Now get this, one of the packages being sent to me has tracking on it. From Allentown, Pennslyvania, It was reported to be dropped off at post office 11351 (nearly making it in Flushing, New York). I live in zip code 11366. Despite the package having tracking, these fools can't locate where my package is! Can you believe that? Why bother with tracking if a package can't even get located?
i lost about 200...in one package....you dont know how pissed i am. Usps says its not there responsibility that THEY LOST the package. they said they cant do anything because i didnt purchase insurance but you would think i wouldnt need to pay them insurance is i paid them to send my damn package to my house.
